Good Ole Gamer lost everything in fire

Some of you may remember I have promoted Bloodstained with the local gaming podcast: Good Ole Gamers. I've actually become really good friends with Lyle and Brandon since then. In fact I was just over Lyle's house last month.
It's crazy to think everything I saw in that house except for Lyle, his girlfriend Emerald and their cats and dog are just gone. Emerald works at a pet store and has amassed quite the heard of pets. I have pictures of me petting one of her skunks. Unfortunately, the skunks, bearded dragons, iguana, bird, fish, animals I probably didn't even know about... all of them burned to death.
Last year was really tough for Lyle because his grandfather who basically raised him died. He didn't take it well. On top of that they discovered his dad has cancer and are still dealing with that. 2017 was bad, but at 2 am or so on new years day faulty wiring caused an electrical fire in the attic of Lyle's house. The wind and the frozen fire fighting equipment issues that hampered the efforts of the fire fighters left nothing. Lyle is a collector of retro gaming hardware and horror memorabilia. A lifetime of serious game collecting that is gone. He loved all that stuff enough to make a podcast about it. It really was his passion. Lyle recently finished his grandfather's save file on the original Zelda gold cart. Now it's gone, and I know that was a special connection for him that can never be returned. Because they were renting and planning on moving they didn't get renter's insurance. They are having to start from scratch.
I'm going to give all I can. I'm going to show him there are people out there that care. I hope it inspires you to consider that as well. I've already had a few of the Bloodstained community tell me they are helping out. To you, thanks again. To all of you that do, from the bottom of my heart, thanks.
