It's like saying this to your friend : "Hey man, you open a restaurant? I'll go buy your hamburger!" and then you didn't show up. Your friend won't have a grudge on you for that. It's not a big deal in anyway possible. Especially when Ben is doing a superb job for Mighty no.9 and Bloodstained. I wonder what made you go create an account in this forum and make this your first post. Well, you even took an effort to make a video with an animated text saying "Ben Judd Caught on a Lie". You have some kind of personal grudge against him? I agree with you Kitti. |

I see, no hard feelings Ben, Its nice to have a more detailed explination to what happend. If I may ask you a few questions.. Is there a reason why keji inafune isnt co-working with you on his Red Ash project, the translation is horible, and i feel its having a bad momentum and bad buisniss decision of revealing two kickstarters at once, instead of focusing the game first then maybe a fund raising anime version kickstarter if the game is succesfull. Also those kickstarters came at a bad time after so many donated to many high profiled kickstarters like shenmue3 and bloodstainend. I wish I could go into more detail but let's just say this. I am a firm believer in running a good campaign that focus on community, solid stretch goals, and fits a solid timeline. I need to be able to produce the campaign and if I'm in a situation where I can't, I won't be able to do my job to the best of my ability. Trust me, you will know when I come out with my next campaign. It should be pretty amazing. |

It's Ben! Really starting to feel...official now  I had planned on posting this last night before all of these new developments had happened, but anyway, for me personally...I was pretty excited for MN9 at the start of the campaign and would have told anyone I was going to donate. As things went on and more was revealed, my interest kind of waned a bit...the game, I thought, wasn't exactly going to be what I was hoping for. I did end up pledging after the end of the campaign, but eh...then and even now, the graphics/art and what I've seen of the mechanics don't seem to do it for me like the late X games or main line games did. The idea was much more exciting than what actually came about, and I'm not saying Ben might have felt that way, but it's true in my case. I could have just as well not given anything, though I was at first very interested. A game like even X7/X8 looks more vibrant and interesting, to me. I'm partial to varied landscapes/outdoors/blue sky in Mega Man games, too, so that might be part of it. And 2D, of course, lol...but that's obvious. Hopefully the game will do more for me than I've seen when I get my hands on it. |
