The mist was slow to roll in as a form slowly shuffled forward its details obscured by a poncho that seemed to hold the faces of the damned and forgotten littering its blackened and scorched surface before the being rattled out slowly its finger pointing at Sunraiser. "You shall not join my collection this day.. Rise.. Fight.. Dance upon the fields of blood and death.. Bring me more offers and thy shall forever stay away from my collection." As it finished speaking a black beam of eldritch energies rushed from it extended digit to join with her body mending the cuts and bruises of her flesh before it began sinking back into the mist that was slowly fading away a rough chilling cackle signifying that it had left.. For now.

"Apologies everyone, my tardiness was inexcusable," A low, rather calm voice fills part of the hall, as a tall man entered the area. He looked a short ways above six foot, his hand affixed upon his hip at a hilt of a long sword that rested there from a strap that fell down his shoulder. His steps patient as he moved forward, the man's hazel eyes are quick to examine the area. Seeing the one that so many were affixed to defeating, a lonely sigh flows from his lips, "Always the beautiful ones. Such a curse I have..." His head shakes for a moment, long hair swaying with his motions as he looked to his fallen allies.
Seeing the mist emitting from their foe, the man was careful to not breath, lifting a plain white handkerchief from his inside coat pocket before moving in. He walks to Sunraiser, careful over the mess of battle and brings his hand down to her, his own sort of magic controlling the blood within her to almost completely sew together her wound. When healed, it was like no wound was ever there and her skin was perfectly restored. Offering a hand to help her up, he speaks, "Come now, there's much more for you to do."

A small little bunny hops on through,carrying a potion in its mouth and a pocket watch on its back, very clearly late for a very important date...but not so important that it couldn't hop in to help turn the tides as it hops over the slowly recovering body of yugosalkins . Hopping up to his head it smashes the health potion against it, being a bunny it had no clue how one was supposed to use those before it tries to hop out of the room...a battlefield was no place for a defenseless bunny after all.

There's a ray of light hitting the ceiling but you're not sure which direction it is exactly coming from. You hear this hymn almost like a choir in some language you assume is ancient. The light heads down towards Yugo. As it heals him you hear this noise like a heavy book shutting closed. It echoes throughout the area and there is silence. Yugo has been healed by The Deacon.

tosses azune a clock filled with elixir and screams as shes shoved into her own iron maiden from the blast, coughing up silvery blood as bloodlesses gets absorbed, flashing her fangs as the maiden starts to creak and crackle with energy "liz, you should know better, NOBODY MAKES ME BLEED MY OWN BLOOD!!!

The scarlet mist begins to fill the room, thickening to a suffocating fog. Unable to escape it, the warrior of the Sun can feel the denseness of the fog filling her lungs,cutting off her air. She chokes as the blood fills her lungs, condensing and drowning her quickly. One hand comes up to grasp fruitlessly at her throat as she's plagued by wracking coughs, just trying to clear her airways to no avail. Her eyes roll back into her head as she succumbs to the near-fatal attack, watching her compatriots dropping like flies around her, suffering the same fate. Unable to suck in any manner of air, the supple pirate crumples to the floor in a heap, unmoving as the mist begins to withdraw from her.
Air floods back into her lungs, saving her in the knick of time, but leaving her with just the barest glimpse of life. Her breath is shallow and slow as a beam of radiant white light washes over her. Awareness returns to her, and lashes lift from her eyes as she feels the sacred warmth envelop her. Her eyes fall upon the one who cast the spell that brought her back from the brink and she takes a deep, steadying breath.
Seeing an orange rolling across the floor towards her, she blinked and reached out to lift it as it collided with her thigh. Following the fruit back to its source, she manages a fond smile to Enkeria and another polite nod as she tears the skin off the fruit and consumes it heartily, restoring yet more of her energy and will to battle on! "I owe a debt of deep gratitude, to both of you! Thank you from the bottom of my burning heart for your assistance!"
Another kind soul approaches and offers her a box with some questionable meat inside, but after taking a sniff, she realizes it doesn't smell half bad, and she consumes it heartily. She'd eaten worse things that came out of walls, so this was nothing! Tasty in fact! Though as she was chewing, she could feel eerie eyes upon her. Her body jolted with a spasm as that dark and ancient energy surged through her, dragging the remnants of that bloodied mist from her lungs and repairing some of the physical damage to her body. Turning about quickly, she saw naught but shadows, yet felt calmed and grateful for their presence.
Finishing off the odd meat as the tall, well-mannered man drew near, she lifted her gaze to him and gasped softly as his hand lowered to her and that healing energy cleared some residual blood from her lungs. She could breathe much easier now! Coughing a bit, she regained her composure as he offered his hand and grinned. Accepting his help to her feet, she brushed herself off. "How right you are, good sir. Thank you kindly for your clever magics! I feel much better, and I feel as though I can continue on now!"
The blonde is stunned speechless by the kindness and bravery of the 'medics' that have stepped forth to save her from the very precipice of death. Rounding, she sees yet more healers swarming around Yugo to bring her formerly fluffy friend back from the brink as well! Glad to see him reinvigorated, she kneels and collects her fallen cutlass, gazing into the wild inferno that coats the blade in order to rekindle her own fighting spirit! It was time to pay their kindness forward and bring the morale back to her fallen companions before continuing their onslaught and finishing off the demoness once and for all!
((Now here's the confusing part. Since we rallied so quickly to bounce back from utter defeat, would those of us who were healed be able to take a turn to heal others before Bloodless can strike again? Or are we doomed to wait for the turns to reset upon her next move? Trying to get as many people back into the fray as possible, but totally understand turn restrictions if not. <3))

Gene falls face first, contents of his satchel spills onto the floor. As he gathers his things, he looks around.
"What is this place? I smell blood and other things that are proooobably not blood."
Something heavy smashes his back, and he falls on his face again.
"Oh sorry. Wait, Gene, what are you doing here!?"
"Sunraiser..? What's going on? What is this place?" He asks as he gets back on his feet.
"No time to explain. Do you have any healing items on you?"
"I think I have something. Lemme- wait, here." He hands Sun a handful of browning leaves and a vial of murky blue liquid.
"Perfect, thanks!" She grabs the leaves and vial and immediately dashes down a dark hallway, following the screams of an otherworldly creature.
And Gene was there, alone once more, as confused as ever.

After taking a catastrophic hit from Bloodless, I hear a cry for help while being surrounded by fallen heroes. That voice was coming from yugosalkins, who slowly regains his consciousness through the help of fellow friends. I will heal Richter with a potion that was saved from the attack! |

As my bubble shield of divine light dissipates, the grizzly sight of fallen allies all around me pierces my spirit, a concoction of rage and sadness overwhelms me...
Looking around at who's left, those who can stand are barely doing so...yugosalkins and Sunraiser have received potent healing aids but everyone else is a moment away from an ignoble death at the hands of that wretched creature.
I want to heal my friends, but drained of all divine energy, my sword is powerless...
I grab Lux one more time with both hands and stare with half dead eyes at our tormentor...she smiles, one last insult before the end...
Barely holding onto consciousness, desperate ancient words of power spill forth:
"Grant me courage, divine light of life"
...a faint glow from my chest appears...
"For I am thy humble servant"
...specks of light form...
"Surrender my spark and flame"
...filaments spawn, drawn to the blade...
"So those who stand for you"
...the filaments become strands...
"May crush thine enemies"
...the strands melt together...
"As dust before the wind!"
...a constant beam of incandescent light bursts out from my heart and engulfs Lux.
I thrust Lux skyward, releasing a massive column of light towards the heavens.
Silence ensues, and many wonder what just happened.
Beams of light, bright and warm as the morning sun, come crashing down from the clouds above, enveloping every single soul who fights the evil of Bloodless. Galamoth is pulled back from his emergency teleport to be restored by this healing power, Averinya opens their eyes, Zereca snaps out of it, covered in crimson but ready to make Bloodless spill her own. Every ally who was either dead or dying until a moment ago is now rising to their feet, marveling at healed injuries and renewed fervor.
(All party members regain consciousness and get +10HP.)
The pillars of light fade, and I finally fall to my knees, using all my strength just to prop myself up with my sword. I look to my friends and allies, bloodied, tired, but with new hope and determination in their eyes. I smile at them all, a good long smile I make damn well sure to share with Bloodless.
...She isn't smiling anymore...
I collapse.
(Angel-Corlux is unconscious at 0HP and doesn't respond to healing remedies or magicks, his life force appears to have been depleted.)

I open my eyes, able to see the world once more. The blackness has faded, and light is revived by the power of an angel's wish... Your sacrifice and kindness shall not be in vain.
I stand to my feet, damaged, but alive. I look over to see Galamoth, who seems rather confused at his sudden & unexpected return. It seems only right to throw him a bone (with meat on it!), a little welcome back gift, he looks like he can use the aid.

Delighted to see that her ultimate attack worked even better than expected, Bloodless revels in the sight of everyone soaked in blood. The admires the pinnacle of her artwork. Turning the odd into her favor, she gazes at Astaroth. "Ah, excellent. You still stand. Still befriending morals, I see. Now come to your senses and stop this foolishness."A whole host of new victims begin to flood in to help the fallen, but they look like easy prey who's hearts aren't into finishing this fight. The coy smile fades as the wounded Angel-Corlux begins his words. She witnesses an unwelcome miracle as a column of light erupts to the heavens from his sword. All of her victims look to be given a second chance. All but the one who has sacrificed themselves for the others. With her moment of victory stolen, you see a dark aura emanate from the demoness. Her defiant scream fills the chamber as she aims her ire at Yugo and Sunraiser.
