IGA's full name is Koji Igarashi, and Bloodstained is his first project with his new company Art Play. - By Enkeria Gin
//swordorwhip.com were held a few days before the kickstarter campaign started and was suppose to be a teaser. Matter a fact, the visitors could choose between either sword or whip (https://www.giantbomb.com/koji-igarashi/3040-40883/forums/igarashi-asks-sword-or-whip-1771406/) and the first couple of days the whip was in lead, but soon as the rumor of this odd site existed, the sword ran pass it and won. This aided the team with information to see that the experienced gamers, with the love for the old games, were still around, and even though sword won, they decided to make the Swordwhip. There will be plenty of weapons to satify even the most hardcore of gamers. - By Enkeria Gin
There might be an Early Access Alpha Build playable for the backers, if the rumors are true it will come Aug 2017 for PC users, most likely on Steam. The build as is, should not be called beta since it clearly alpha. 2 Sources combined: www.polygon.com/e3/2017/6/9/15762442/bloodstained-ritual-of-the-night-e3-demo-delay-release-date and //www.dualshockers.com/bloodstained-ritual-night-interview-koji-igarashi-face-name-genre/ - By Enkeria Gin
Release date for Bloodstained - Ritual of the Night isstill early 2018 aiming for 2019. - By Enkeria Gin
Most of the concept art for the kickstarter campaign - Ritual of the Night were created by Yuji Natsume from Inti Creates, the actual game use concept art made by DICO. - By Enkeria Gin
Why call the game 'Bloodstained'? Well, they thought it was a perfect fit to describe the stained glass curse that spreads, like a virus, across the host's body. That explains "Stained," at least. As for the rest of the title, IGA has always been a big fan of blood. (And naming the game "Igavania" was a bit too embarrassing for IGA.) - By Enkeria Gin
IGAVANIA (n): A gothic, exploration-focused action platformer, designed by one of the godfathers of the genre! Unlike Metroidvania, the IGAvania are more based of the concept of rpg-elements, grinding and exploration rather than blasting enemies into bits. - By Enkeria Gin
The final version of Bloodstained will be playable in six languages: English, Japanese, German, French, Spanish and Italian. Each selectable from the beginning. - By Enkeria Gin
PC specs? We probably won't know until about six months before release. - By Enkeria Gin
Ben Judd, representative, translater, friend and producer as well as agent for IGA. His feet can be seen in the kickstarter promo video, the scream is however not real, or from him (what we know of). - By Enkeria Gin
IGA convinced Michiru Yamane, long time Castlevania composer to join Bloodstained project and compose musics for the game, by getting her really drunk and then asking her, while drunk, if she would join. They are long time "drink" friends. destructoid.com/castlevania-s-iga-back-with-dream-game-bloodstained-ritual-of-the-night-291908.phtml - By Pure Miriam
In early planning documents, the protagonist was male, but after some discussions about what would fit the needs of the American market, and what the prevailing social climate was like there currently, they went for a tough female character. "A game with both genders are interesting" and IGA stated "I think having a female hero is more motivating to male gamers, and I think women would like to control a female avatar, too." and "Also, in those early drafts when the hero was male, we were thinking to add a rival character who would butt heads and get into heated clashes with the hero, due to differences in the way they saw things. Now that we’ve changed to a female protagonist, and that enemy rival is male, the mood of those scenes will have to change too." shmuplations.com/bloodstained/ - By Enkeria Gin
When asked how many takes it took to shatter the wine glass in the Kickstarter video, IGA responded: "So actually it took me two takes, and when they were recording it they didn’t actually shatter it. There was another person that caught it when I threw it so we didn’t waste any wine glasses! (lol) It’s funny because we recorded at a winery location and we just used grape juice for cost efficiency." dorkadia.com/2017/09/09/bloodstained-an-interview-with-koji-igarashi/ - By Enkeria Gin
During New York Comic Con 2017, the booth #622 were located in a prime location, if not the best location, right in front of the main entrance to the show, next to the Funko booth, in front of Star Wars and on the other side of the Triforce booth. They had 16 game stations, that were constantly filled for the duration of all four days with almost 10,000 people playing the Bloodstained "E3 2017 demo". They gave out 800 of the beautiful art prints designed by Mana of ArtPlay with IGA's signature and most of them also with Mana's signature as well. - By Enkeria Gin with words from Angel-Corlux, brand manager of Bloodstained
Cast & Development
A single-level demonstration of Bloodstained was made available to play for attendees of Electronic Entertainment Expo 2016, and was released to Kickstarter backers a week later. - By Enkeria Gin
Many of the people working for Bloodstained - Ritual of the Night have more than one titel, doing multiple of things. Example a community manager, designer, translator, communication manager and production manager. This is because the crew is very small and flexible. - By Enkeria Gin
Robert Belgrade, the voice behind Alucard in the first versions of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night will lend his voice to Bloodstained - Ritual of the Night. He will be voicing a "mysterous man". - By Enkeria Gin
David Hayter, the voice of Solid Snake among others was thought to be voicing Gebel, it was later changed into him taking part of making Zangetsu's voice instead. - By Enkeria Gin
During November - December 2016, DICO took over the production of 2.5D development, this under mutual agreement with Inti Creates. Inti Creates Bloodstained crew shifted their work towards making the prequel, which were great news. This would allow for greater time and value for production. - By Enkeria Gin
Music studio for Bloodstained - Ritual of the Night is Noisy Croak, which are working together with Michiru Yamane and the game director to produce the soundtrack for the game. geekscape.net/pax-west-2017-koji-igarashi-talks-bloodstained - By Enkeria Gin
There will be food in the game, that replenish health, and perhaps even ether (the magic buffer needed for shard 'magic'). - By Enkeria Gin
There are upgrades for Miriam along her journey, giving her the abilities to sprint, dash, heal, fly and double jump. Perhaps even rage! - By Enkeria Gin
There are currently 3 (or more) rooms that might be designed by backers. Around 30 or more save rooms. 20 or more warp rooms and 30 or more 'connect' rooms. These were pulled from the E3 2016 Demo, it is possible the numbers has since doubled. - By Enkeria Gin
2.5D video games are almost always about having colorful and bright backdrops, but with the Unreal Engine, IGA are working towards giving the backdrops of Bloodstained a dark feel, and instead bright up the foreground. This is an direct nod to all other Castlevania games where the backdrop were either kept simple or dark. - By Enkeria Gin
Early draft of the concept of "crafting" in Bloodstained would allow the player to upgrade his or hers favorite weapon with +1, +2 or more attribute points from materials gained by enemies during a 'New Game Plus'. It would be an end-game feature. - By Enkeria Gin
The level cap for E3 Demo 2016 had 99 ingame, but 255 in the source code. It is possible that is Miriams highest tier. - By Enkeria Gin
After the familiar vote (//bloodstainedfanforums.com/thread/29/update-special-attacks-familiar-vote) the Knight-design won, and that is the only familiar that will be in the game (as a familiar). The community have spoken and wish for the 'funny' familiar to be in the game, if not as an familiar, but perhaps as a mascot of some type. This familiar is called Goofball, and he have a great fanbase behind him. So even hope he will be a familiar in the prequel game instead. All the familiars were cool and IGA had a though choice picking one, good thing the people could vote, and he trusted and respected everyone judgement. The other two were a Faery and a Reaper. - By Enkeria Gin
First in game familiar we saw was a floating Dullahammer Head, it was in shades of blue (youtu.be/GtLf5U0kRtw?t=9m4s) and the community were wondering if all familiars will be the same or if they actually would have colors. After a podcast with 505 Games Brand Manager Angel-Corlux (Roberto), we got a "wait and look forward to news very soon", leaving us to believe the familiar in the E3 2017 demo was indeed just in alpha. Along with this familiar and the Knight that won the community vote during their campaign, we will see "enough" of familiars with hopefully interesting personalities. - By Enkeria Gin
You can level up familiars, "like an older IGAvania IP". (youtu.be/GtLf5U0kRtw?t=9m40s) - By Enkeria Gin
Double Jump is still under development, the "floaty" feel of Miriam are changing and will be changed until the developers feel it suits her. The double jump might show a faint platform for Miriam or add some kind of magic animation attribute on her when we tap the second time. - By Enkeria Gin
A lot of rumors and some official information of sorts says that Shanoa, Order of Ecclesia's protagonist, main inspiration for Miriam, was modeled after IGA's wife. We can assume it is the same for Miriam, since both girls looks alike. femhype.com/2015/05/16/what-is-a-woman-bloodstained-koji-igarashis-female-characters/ - By Pure Miriam
Bloodstained - Ritual of the Night will currently be the first IGAvania that will go through massive bug- and glitchtesting by both Castlevania fans, speed runners and gamers alike. IGA was very surprised by the amount of feedback he got just from the E3 2016 Demo, which helped the developers easier to fix and expand ideas upon. This is one of the reasons the theory of Early Access might be just around the corner. - By Enkeria Gin
During development, 'Bloodstained - Ritual of the Night' were often compared to other unsuccesful Kickstarter Projects, one of which would be the platform game 'Mighty No. 9'. After some thoughtprocess behind many Bloodstained fans, they came into the conclusion that you can't compare them because the only things they have in common is that Both are Kickstarter projects, both are homeage to old games and both are side-scrollers. - End of comparison, and that isn't much to go on, is it? - By Enkeria Gin
The official forum of Bloodstained - Ritual of the Night, had contact and visit by staff-members of both Artplay, DICO, Inti Creates an 505 Games. Some of the staff even took their time to visit the official discord to answer questions, collect feedback and take part of the hottest topics that emerged during the development. Even a few celebrities and game developers joined into the action as fans of the IGAvania franchise, including Adi Shankar, executive producer of Netflix Castlevania. - By Enkeria Gin
Early on during development, IGA told the backers that they hope but will not give us monthly updates, much due to restricted time. There have been however a few months with double amount of updates. There is also interviews and podcasts where the crew have been guests at and talked about whats to come, how to do it and what they hope to achieve. Podcasts can be found on YouTube with the title "Bloodstained Community Broadcast". During one special Xmas with Mana, CM for Bloodstained, she answered a bunch of questions from both fans and backers. - By Enkeria Gin
The Sony PS Vita port looked like Nintendo Switch according to IGA but got discontinued due to Sony Entertainment no longer supported game development for the system, ending December 2018. Since the Wii U was pushed a side for the favor of Nintendo Switch, the main focus for Armature.com would've been PS VITA. They hoped to give us music export, PS4 cross save support, touch screen support and fully playable on PlayStation TV. Sadly we won't see it unless a port is made by fans. - By Enkeria Gin
Fangamer, will bring future Bloodstained merchs, and it seems like we are getting posters, shirts, pins and keychains, but requests from fans, that might also become reality are things like Gothic Tarot Cards, Playing Cards, Plushies, Jewelry, vinyl record and a coloring book. Actually, a Bloodstained shirt for backers have already been shipped out and a new batch of them are soon open for the public. //bloodstainedfanforums.com/thread/2264/bloodstained-merch - By Enkeria Gin

Bloodstained - Ritual of the Night was one of the nominated at Game Critics Awards at E3 2017, this came as a surprise for IGA and the staff. The title was "Best Independent Game". - By Enkeria Gin
On October 3 2017, on Castlevania: Symphony of the Nights' birthday, 505 Games Global Brand Manager revealed art made by Mana Ikeda. This led to a community request of seeing her art become standard within Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. Along with the theory of her actually making painting and portraits for the backers that will be placed across the castle in the game. Her art gives tribute to Ayami Kojima and gives it a personal touch. //bloodstainedfanforums.com/thread/2646/manas-nycc-print-answers-details Image: imgur.com/C6MwzyD - Enkeria Gin
During the events of Comic Con, New York, 2017. Both Koji IGA Igarashi, and Mana Ikeda visited the St. Patrick's Cathedral, where Koji Igarashi took a bunch of photos for inspiration. They also tried out a whole range of dishes from resturants, including a japanese place. IGA-san also tried out New York Pizza, and agreed it was a tasteful treat. They also visited the official Nintendo store and noticed that they spelled it with kanji, which is rare even by Japans standards. - By Enkeria Gin

During April 28 of 2018 it was revealed during an kickstarter update that the prequel mini-game have been change to a spinoff mini-game, allowing additional adventures to take part in future developments if team(s) decide to do so. The spinoff mini-game also mentions "8-bit" in their japanese section, something that is only refered to as "retro" in the english section. "I'd also like to update you on the retro mini-game. There have been some changes from the time we started the Kickstarter campaign; originally, the mini-game was supposed to be a story that took place 10 years prior to the main game, but we've decided to have it take place in a different part of the lore"

Plot & Characters
The setting for Bloodstained starts is England around the late 1700's, about two decades into the Industrial Revolution. A group of alchemists, fearing its waning relevancy as science captures the 18th century setting, try to warn against the world losing faith. The alchemists then decide to summon demons to earth. Miriam, an orphan, is infused with magical crystals that attract these demons. However, Miriam falls into a comatose state, rendering her unable to be used as the sacrifice. However, using Gebel, the Alchemists are successful in summoning the demons. Having miraculously survided the ritual, Gebel decides to take revenge. Using his powers to summon demons, he destroys the Alchemist’s Guild. After 10 years, Miriam awakens, while at the same time a demonic castle emerges from the remains of the Alchemist Guild. //bloodstained.wikia.com/wiki/Bloodstained:_Ritual_of_the_Night - By Enkeria Gin
To increase the sense of realism, IGA wanted the setting Ritual of the Night to be an actual period in history. An important theme for the game to him was a stronger connection between the world of fantasy and the world of reality. He decided the story's location to be England as it seemed like the kind of place where a demon summoning might have actually happened. He also did research into English history to see if there had ever been such an event. During this search he read about the Laki volcano eruption in Iceland from the 18th century, which killed one third of the country's population, as well as 23,000 people in England who died as a result of inhaling sulphur dioxide. In addition, due to a thick haze that had spread to Europe, it was said the day was as dark as night and the sun appeared blood red. For the game's story, IGA imagined this event to have been murderous rampage by something inhuman, and that the eruption of the volcana was actually a cover-up story. //bloodstained.wikia.com/wiki/Bloodstained:_Ritual_of_the_Night - By Enkeria Gin
The Castle are actually a gift for Miriam, brought to her by Gebel, the main villain of the game. They were once close friends. - By Enkeria Gin
Earlier in development, it was planned that the player would visit different countries around the world, but this idea was scrapped because according to IGA, depicting the native monsters from each country’s myths would have been too much variety, and it also wouldn’t have given the right diversity of enemies needed to make the stage design interesting. For this reason, the demons from the abovementioned grimoire were added. However, for the sake of variety, the enemy repertoire will not just consists of these demons, bur also characters from gothic horror as well. //bloodstained.wikia.com/wiki/Bloodstained:_Ritual_of_the_Night - By Enkeria Gin
Miriams black hair are tainted by the demonic powers and from the crystals that grows from her within, Johannes, a friend and alchemist have tried to stop the cursed progress by giving her magical runes around some areas of her skin. Miriam were once blonde, and a Pure Miriam skin for the backers (and perhaps for everyone) can play as her without the "cursed" look. Pure Miriam Image: s32.postimg.org/sldjhg62d/Pure_Miriam.png - By Enkeria Gin
Miriam have magical symbols around her 'rose-tattoos', given by Johannes, this is to block the curse for spreading any further. The seal are however not as strong as he would have hoped. Early concept art can be seen what happens when Miriam loose her control and her body gets fully covered by stained glass. This is part of the story, and perhaps even a skill or a level up tier of some kind when we have gathered enough of shards. //cdn3.dualshockers.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/bloodstaind.jpg - By Enkeria Gin
Zangetsu is the first traditional Samurai in a Igavania, his right arm are made out of hard wood and imbued with magical powers, he have also lost one eye but can "sense" and see demonical essence. He favor a Katana sword and theories are stating he may be the main character in the prequel game. - By Enkeria Gin
Cell shadings of (design attached on) Miriam and the backdrop were decided by the backers early on. - By Enkeria Gin
While Miriam is covered with stained glass 'tattoos' / shards outside of her, Gebel is covered on the inside mostly, and it has spread out to his outside, leaving him a bit crazy, cold and confused. This is why he is wearing a mask, to hide his face from Miriam. - By Enkeria Gin
Miriam is the only character you play as in the beginning. When you beat the game, you'll unlock two additional playable characters. Once unlocked, you can replay as those characters. //www.usgamer.net/articles/bloodstained-goes-medieval-on-players-medieval-japan-that-is - By Enkeria Gin
There are at least 2 different NPCs that will sell things to us. One being a child (Anne Knolles, 12 yo), one being a spritual nun (Dominique Baldwin, 25 yo). About Anne: "A village girl whose parents were murdered. Anne was saved by Dominique and Miriam when demons attacked her village. When Dominique is out of town, Anne looks after the shop. She is a bright and cheerful girl." About Dominique: "An exorcist dispatched by the church, she supports Miriam as the shopkeeper. She speaks in a posh way, but she treats everyone kindly. While the church believes Miriam and Gebel to be demons, Dominique trusts them as human beings. In order to foil Gebel’s ambitions, she asks her old friend Johannes to summon Miriam." - By Enkeria Gin
Monsters
Morte is one of the first enemies you encounter, if you look close you can see they are walking backwards, even their heads are tilted back, revealing eyes and mouth in a reversed matter. - By Enkeria Gin
First boss we learn about were Vepar, a boss that can be seen in the E3 2016 Demo. Second boss we have seen is a concept art named Gremori. Third boss was seen during E3 2017 Demo, called Bloodless. We also know IGA himself is a hidden boss in the game, exclusive for the backers. Both Vepar and Bloodless seems to have red shards that you can obtain. - By Enkeria Gin
Early concept of Vepar (in the E3 2016 Demo) had her color template being more colorful and bright. This changed quickly after feedback were given that she were less 'goth' and 'scary', during SXSW 2018 they revealed her new look. //bloodstainedfanforums.com/thread/2935/sxsw-igas-birthday-action-report?page=1 - By Enkeria Gin
All bosses in previous IGAvania games can be defeated with the right strategy. Every designer and programmer that makes a boss, should be able to kill it without being hit once. This concept have not changed in Bloodstained, not even for a higher difficulty. - By Enkeria Gin
IGA himself have both recorded the Japanese and the English voice for the super secret boss "IGA". Theories are to believe he will have traits of a vampire and fancy a robe and tunic. - By Enkeria Gin
Boss Revenge Mode is a feature that lets you play (some of) the bosses. - By Enkeria Gin
While Dracula might not be part of Bloodstained, there will be a new selection of demons and classic b-movie monsters in the game. These enemies will be alongside fantasy and fiction creations and interpretations of demons from the Lesser Key of Solomon. - By Enkeria Gin
My pet as a monster: One kickstarter tier let you have your pet in the castle, one pitch were a tribute to the behemoth that chase the heroes down corridors. This exact pitch was a giant demonic cat that attacks you with its paws. The backer have yet to decide if this will be in the game or not. - By Enkeria Gin
Many monsters are based out attributes around the Key of Solomon. The Key of Solomon is divided into two books. It describes not the appearance or work of any spirit but only the necessary drawings to prepare each "experiment" or, in more modern language, magical operations. The Key of Solomon. Book I contains conjurations, invocations and curses to summon and constrain spirits of the dead and demons in order to compel them to do the operator's will. It also describes how to find stolen items, become invisible, gain favor and love, and so on. Book II describes various purifications which the operator (termed "exorcist") should undergo, how they should clothe themselves, how the magical implements used in their operations should be constructed, and what animal sacrifices should be made to the spirits. - By Enkeria Gin
One minor change have been made for the boss Bloodless in the chinese version of Bloodstained. When the cutscene shows she gets covered more quickly by her bloodmagic. - By Enkeria Gin
Exotic animals and easter eggs will be in Bloodstained and the most vivid of fans might find them all. - By Enkeria Gin
Attacks & Weapons
Many enemies have different animations upon death, depending on what kind of weapon or elemental attack you use. - By Enkeria Gin
Design a weapon: There were an early pitch of an dagger that gained more and more damage the more you used it. It is unclear if the attribute or the dagger itself are still in the game. If it is, it will be a "backer weapon", a weapon you can only have one at a time. If the dagger is still in the game, it will loose all what it has gained if you would replace it during your adventures with another "backer weapon". - By Enkeria Gin
The exclusive weapon Swordwhip is a tribute and the fusion of both old and new Castlevania fans favorite weapons, and can currently only be obtained by backing the project from $60 or above on kickstarter. - By Enkeria Gin
The whip in Bloodstained - Ritual of the Night have a different animation than we are used to in a IGAvania game, this is because they wanted to get it feel both "more real" and "different", telling the two franchises apart. - By Enkeria Gin
Guns in this game needs bullets. Go get them bullets! - By Enkeria Gin
Ammo for guns is at the equipment list since the beginning. Not only "Weapon" has two slots (one for ammo, since you will be able to change guns ammo) but the menu has an ammo tab that is darkened out and can't be selected. //bloodstainedfanforums.com/thread/2385/trivia-noticed-before-demo - By Pure Miriam
There are no subweapons in Bloodstained, instead we collect shards. - By Enkeria Gin
IGA said that bosses are the stars of a game like those he does and he has a way to balance a boss fight. The boss programmer itself should be able to defeat the boss without taking a single hit. For him, that's how you know the boss was developed correctly, and it clearly demonstrates signals for how to defeat it. That rule of thumb, most probably, is also in effect for Bloodstained. www.polygon.com/2014/3/21/5534730/koji-igarashi-symphony-of-the-night-how-to-make-a-metroidvania - By Pure Miriam
In the E3 beta 2016 you could press Y at the equipment menu to see all weapon types, throwing knives were one example in that list. //bloodstainedfanforums.com/thread/2385/trivia-noticed-before-demo - By Pure Miriam
In the 2017 E3 Demo players could find almost all types of weapons with the exception of guns. This is presumably due to the idea behind the usage of bullets not being complete. - By Arsenical
There are a special tab for each type of weapon, backers are one of those special tabs. A backer weapon can only be used on at a time. This means, you probably have to loose that one to replace it with another. Some weapons are based on leveling up, others are not. This will allow for a thoughtful process of which weapon you should actually keep or loose. The backer weapons are the ones that are made by fans that backed the Weapon Tier on kickstarter pre-production. - By Enkeria Gin
For animation of Miriam using katana, IGA was the motion-capture inspiration, wielding an umbrella. - By Enkeria Gin
For the Weapon Tier (back in Kickstarter days) you got a survey which you were to decide if you wanted the weapon to be a special backer-weapon (can level up, but only be used one at a time), or a 'normal' weapon located and scaled with other weapons in the castle and did not level up, but would be listed in the collection and be available every playthrough. - By Neff
One backer wanted a 'Rainbow whip', each hit would change it's elemental attack. The whip itself was a 'simple' design. There were however someone else wanted a similar theme (not a whip exclusively), and the 'Rainbow whip' was transmuted into shoes with a poison ability. These shoes and effects (with a floral design) will be in the final game of Bloodstained and have been named 'Oleanders', and will be a normal weapon that is located and scaled with the castles range of weapons (not a 'level up' weapon). Before the 'Oleanders' design there were also an angelic whip with flame elemental attack and a lightning gohei whip, both of them were scraped by the backer. Features & Details
The prequel game will be sold separately unless you backed the project on kickstarter and it will be an adventure taking place while Miriam is still in her coma, moments before she wakes up and goes on her journey. That means the prequel are either a dream sequence (probably not), or most likely, an adventure where we play as another character. It will be either 8-bit or 16-bit and have a retro soundtrack. The prequel game is currently under development by Inti Creates. - By Enkeria Gin
Mods for PC steam gaming of the settings and skins/costumes for Miriam (and more) does already exist. To make it work you need the E3 2016 Demo on steam. About Mods from the devs: "As long as the art assets are released publicly (viewable in-game) then modding is acceptable. I had to take out the weapons that were unreleased yet since they don't appear anywhere in-game. All mods should apply with the forum rules - It shouldn't be modded in a way that may offend another person (race, religion, gender, etc). That also includes making mods that are pornographic or nude. Otherwise, feel free to make some creative mods that other players can enjoy!" More about it here: //bloodstainedfanforums.com/thread/1148/bloodstained-modded - By Enkeria Gin
In the 2016 E3 Demo items found outside of chest appeared as white bags, when picked up we only saw text. In the 2017 E3 demo the item are shown upon picked from the bag. - By Arsenical
Similarly to Yooka-Laylee, which launched its Kickstarter around the same time, a Wii U version was planned but was ultimately scrapped in favor of a Nintendo Switch version. - By Enkeria Gin
With the Kickstarter, multiple YouTubers were asked by Fangamer to promote the game. For their efforts, they would each get a Clan named after them for backers to align themselves with in the credits, and they would each get to design a cosmetic piece of gear for Miriam accessible via Cheat Code. Those included: Game Grumps, Mega64, Chuggaaconroy, TheZaibatsuClan, SwimmingBird941, NintendoCapriSun, Egoraptor, JoshJepson, ProtonJon, FarFromSubtle, Game Sack, The Speed Gamers, Stephen Plays, Vinesauce, KindaFunnyGames. There were also a few clans for communities that enjoy Castlevania games that got the same privilege. - By Enkeria Gin
Romscout, speed runner and a Castlevania fan have showed IGA during live stream how to glitch through Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and have given the developers great feedback on how to make Bloodstained more interesting in terms of speed run. There is also an official Speed Run Mode currently under development for Bloodstained. - By Enkeria Gin
IGA is a humble man and feel easily embarrassed, he can't even watch the kickstarter promo video he made without blushing. - By Enkeria Gin
Secret "silly" codes will be shared among the different Castlevania communities to unlock costumes for Miriam, these codes are not locked and can / will be obtained by everyone via the power of the internet. - By Enkeria Gin
IGA has some skills as a crafter. He knows how to do jewels, one of kickstarter's rewards "Ring of IGA" is a real ring IGA crafted, by hand, by himself. He also knows how to create stained glasses and he even has some at his own home he did it himself. //www.siliconera.com/2015/05/25/level-design-for-bloodstained-ritual-of-the-night-now-in-progress/ - By Pure Miriam
IGA learned not long ago about the "Metroidvania" term, that many fans coined to use for his games and Metroid games. His team were afraid of promoting the game with that name, since Metroid is someone ele's intellectual property, and coined the term "Igavania". IGA himself feels embarassed by having his own name as the genre of a game. //www.dualshockers.com/bloodstained-ritual-night-interview-koji-igarashi-face-name-genre/ - By Pure Miriam
In the 2016 E3 Demo the Moon around Miriam's healthbar and portrait started to bleed as Miriam took damage, becoming more and more red the lower her health became, however in the 2017 demo the moon no longer bleeds. We do not know if this animation will be in the game. //bloodstainedfanforums.com/thread/2385/trivia-noticed-before-demo - By Arsenical

IGA got a whip made which he went around on events with, even though he is on team sword, he do respect the fans and can wield the whip with deadly accuracy (against candles at least). - By Enkeria Gin
Ayami Kojima will design the exclusive slipcase for backers of $60+ tiers which will be signed by Koji Igarashi in the $300 tier. - By Enkeria Gin
We do not know if its Ayami Kojima or Mana Ikeda work that have been seen as paintings across the hallways. A few of them are in the first Bloodstained trailer, a portrait of IGA can also be spotted. youtu.be/kTVYb6xeUcU?t=13s Mana Ikeda could perhaps be the designer on the kickstarter backer portraits from a higher tier where you could send in a photo of yourself to become a painting somewhere in the castle. - By Enkeria Gin
Wall-meat are gone, we could expect something like Macaroni and Cheese instead. Why? Because that is what IGA and his Community Manger Mana ate at E3 2016, and it were 'delicious'!

This led to a community request of seeing her art become standard within Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.

Otherwise, feel free to make some creative mods that other players can enjoy!" Similarly to Yooka-Laylee, which launched its Kickstarter around the same time, a Wii U version was planned but was ultimately scrapped in favor of a Nintendo Switch version. - By Enkeria Gin
