Custom Familiars?

That BLUE will change, if we all talk about it. The community needs to make it heard.

And I do not think BLUE will stay, I think this was one of many different versions and a thing perhaps just for that Dullahammer head we saw in the E3 2017 demo.

I would like to see normal colored. But to reply to your actual question: Yes please!

I am all for options, and this would be one. I am however having a hard time seeing this is a big priority over so many other things, but it there is enough time and manpower, I believe there is a chance we might see at least one familiar we can change color on, and scarfs too for Miriam.

The Rainbow Cloak from SotN Saturn version was cool, saw it for the first time yesterday while browsing YouTube. And effects like the Twilight Cloak with semi-transparent feel attacked. These things, together with the option to change ourselves colors and such, would be a blast.

And about the DLC. I am having a super hard time thinking there will be any DLC. I would most likley enjoy "patches" instead that would add in stuff for free if they couldn't make it before deadline.

The more I have spent reading up on the kickstarter campaign, the more I realise that.. They have a TON of features to add in before the game launches.

Or see the backer voted 'Knight' have a way for us to toggle the colors around with, he is after all exclusive.

They will not be blue.. They will be like the E3 2016 demo AMY's and colorful like the Backer-voted Knight.

The blue were a thing for the 2017 demo, just to give us the idea of how it would react and feel, but not look in general. There are no official comment about the familiars colors and such, but seeing the AMY and knowing that the Knight some voted for both have colors. I doubt any blue familiars will occur, unless this is their original look.

Also. We are getting different familiars, doing different things. We have in the game one that might push, press or pull some kind of switch, or a familiar that can do something the rest can not. These things were told by MANA during the BCB xmas podcast, a question I had which Mike asked her about.

In sum, they would evolve. Yes, that would be plausible.

I will use this opportunity to delve into what we could have gotten familiar evolution-wise (what we will get will probably be idea #1, but #3 would be fair, too):

• When it comes to familiars/pets/summons and evolution, there are usually the idea of growing up and getting new forms, like in Pokémon and Digimon (and many TCGs).
• In some games, the familiars don't change at all, they just gain powers when they get stronger. That's a bit lazy to me, but it was quite the norm in old games. Nowadays more data can be stored and the processing abilities have changed, so it's easier to go for different pathways.
• There is also the idea of a familiar becoming more tangible as in they are more used to staying in that form... but normally it's more about creatures that give a time-limited significant boost/cause damage to enemies then disappear. That said, if it's just about appearance and not summoning time, why not.
