Bloodstained Pinball Game

I'm a fan of playing virtual pinball. My favorite table is Medieval Madness. I won a tournament for it at the local convention last year and got a sweet poster for it as a prize. Since then I've been playing some pretty cool games. Here's one that I think is pretty interesting.
So here is a little brain storming session on what I think would be neat to include in a Bloodstained table. I'd like to include the IGAvania elements as much as possible.
Bloodstained: Galleon Minerva Pinball
Based on the demo level, the board will be themed on the ship and may include the following. Hitting a certain selector will choose different rooms. A room isn't a new board, it just affects which targets you must hit and gives access to certain rewards.
Shooting your ball will be done out of a ship cannon or maybe Morte cannon. You start with three balls, but can gain more at a certain score or by performing a difficult room.
So what do you think? What would you like to elaborate on? Any other ideas? I've never attempted to make a game before, so this isn't something I could just do myself and get the quality I'd like from it. Ideas have to start somewhere though. Of course, IGA would have to be cool with a fan game like this.

- Exploration- Skilled players can use the selector to choose a specific room they wish to get certain loot.
- Sometimes the ship can rock, affecting the ball.
- Leveling System- This increases all your attributes. Dying resets your levels. Scoring points works as XP for each level.
- Health Bar- Some enemies have attacks that can deplete your health bar. Hazards on the left and right bottom will also hurt.
- Defense Attribute- Reduces damage taken by the enemies and hazards.
- Attack Attribute- Increases damage to monster targets.
- Luck Attribute- Increases your score multiplier.
- Special Ability Bar- How much you can use a certain ability that is earned in special rooms.
- Double Jump- Hit the ball with a flipper and you can hit that flipper again before the ball hits something to make it bump up a little.
- Feather Fall- Slow the ball's decent.
- Fire Shard- Attacks set a enemy on fire to add burning over time.
- Ice Shard- Block the gap between the flippers with ice.
- Amy Shard- Send a phantom to homing attack an enemy
- Buer Shard- Adds health even beyond maximum.
- Dullahamer Shard- Flings a flail like ball on to the board. Losing it doesn't lose a life.
- Items- These can be equipment and weapons that affect stats, health and special ability restoration.
- Monsters from the demo- Depending on the room, enemies will change. Some can damage the player in their attack state which is predicitable.
- Vepar boss from the demo. Tentacles appear and attack. Shoots water at the ball to also attack. This only appears after all other rooms have been completed.
