The question I want to know will probably never get answered but....
Is there any hope for the series to continue past the two seasons? Imagine it being based on the various videogames.
Rondo Of Blood and SOTN being a season. Down the line aria of sorrow could be a season.

This is the best opportunity we have to put back the torn chapter in the Akumajo timeline.

I had the [false] impression that SotN would already be featured to some extent in the story of this animated series. Perhaps, in the final episode of the second season, maybe they'll decide to show a glimpse of the events during 1792~1797... I'm still hoping for some involvement of the events of Curse of Darkness (maybe Hector, Julia, and Isaac will be in as characters?)

Another super obvious question came to me. Blu-ray/DVD release? If so how long after the netflix debut could we expect it? Nordic subtitles? Swedish, Danish, Norweigan and Finish? I wanna buy!

Good news here Dan is that SotN and Aria are Shankar's two favorite Castlevania games, so...I think it's possible. The natural progression from CV3 is to move into another game with as much going on character-wise, maybe even something grander like SotN. It makes more sense than telling a Simon tale, since that would (unless new and significant liberties were taken) be the same as how the series started, just with less characters and different names.
CV3 seasons > Rondo/SotN seasons > 99/Aria/Dawn seasons would be awesome and cover all of the major bases. While this isn't phrased as a question, I think it'd be something worth getting his attention on ;p
If all that goes well and they need more material, it's certainly out there, but the rest is more ancillary to what I consider the main entries of Castlevania that either have the most appeal or the most story to tell. Later, they can dig into the past with Lament, tell another side of the original CV3 story using Hector, do OoE or PoR...but that's all only if the funds and interest really knocks it out. I hope it does.

I hope it does. The only thing is, it'd depend on if Warren Ellis wants to put the time into something like that. This was a project from years ago, no telling if he plans to go past on what he originally envisioned. Unless they got a different writer.

Thought of another good one, if this hasn't already been finished... But if they ever get to a season about the 1999 battle, would you ask Iga to share any details he had planned for the story? Or just work with what was given in Aria and Dawn of Sorrow, filling in the gaps completely yourselves?
