I am not gonna put his name up here but last night and this morning we had a guy trying to break apart the whole KS. His plan was simple make people panic and remove funds from the bloodstained KS. My biggest worry is that he comes back neer the end puts our total over a new goal then pulls out before its too later or scares people into believing his nonsense. I watched him make his first comments and then remove his pledge after he was confronted by benn judd but he came back around 6 or 7am est time to start again.

I do think we need to confront his missinformation atleast. we can do it and be respectful but i think it could be bad to let him poison the well unchallenged. but i do understand your point mike.

These kind of people often try to insist and insist all the time, as long as others answer them, they'll keep returning.
I think I have an idea of what incident you're talking about...
If there is an official source of information, in the best scenario, providing it to doubtfull users will demerit the troll statements. If there isn't any, just ignore them can be the best , otherwise the poisioned subject will continue longer. I'd do dthat =)

I don't think he was trolling, he just really believed in his view, which just happened to be wrong. There are all sorts of people in the world, and most of them are genuine. You don't have to like them, but it isn't so black and white as you think. That said, the guy was completely wrong on just about everything he was saying, so some information awareness would be great.

Very true. I had a close friend in high school who thought he knew everything. When he argued a point he would back it up with what he thought was supporting evidence but it always turned out he was wrong. He wasn't a troll but he was very much like this guy, just wanted everyone to think the same way he thought even though he was way off the mark. Ignorance is bliss? I think not.

i never had the chance to interact with him but i did read the comment section after the fact but my point about him puting in funds to say his bit and leave is what he has been doing, more then once already. this might be the norm on kickstarter now but i have never seen people join a kickstarter to say something is off leave then pledge to get back in to reply. it seems like a way to abuse kickstarter if i did not like a KS i could do the same thing to draw people away from funding then leave and watch it implode(assuming i could convince people).

Are you talking about the one guy where he tried to convince people about the IP holders? because I remembered he cancelled his pledge after everyone keep proving him that he is wrong he entered the pledge one time to talk about the IP holder, and he keep posting link about the IP |
