Bloodstained May Have Transformations?

Did someone say divine/nightmarish transformations?
If you've ever played Shin Megami Tensei IV, you know that those can go together quite easily.

How about Miriam transforming into some kind of liquid iridescence? ... similar to the T-1000 terminator in terms of ability to squeeze through gaps and bars, expand and shrink, and being able to turn her fluid form into hard crystal daggers, spikes and shards. Could add a different element of combat without looking like a human or animal.

I only read maybe the first page, I agree that they should avoid imitating SotN transformations too heavily, especially if she can surpass them.

Some shimmering glass like fallen angel wings would be a great ultimate transformation. Other stuff that comes to mind is a serpent tail or mermaid form for under water performance, a mystical bird like a raptor or crane which upgrades into a flaming phoenix or bird of technicolor flight, maybe a wild cat that upgrades to a flaming hell cat?

There's a lot of unique creatures she can adapt to that would feel a lot more compelling than imitating Alucard, she doesn't need to linger in his shadow.

It would also be marvelous if the alternate characters had distinctly different transformations or mechanics, like a male anthro demon with wings, or a Centaur like body transformation. Distinguishing their effects and gameplay from character to character can multiply the gameplay experience available taking on similar challenges with alternate tools and mechanisms

This was exactly what I was thinking, or maybe some sort of melding into stained glass to transport to different areas... Maybe both?
