Although I have a PS4 now, I backed this game for the physical Vita port because of it's PSTV compatibility. Now I still want this game on Vita (I prefer the dual nature of Vita Vs graphics), but if it gets cancelled or turns out to be a lesser port in terms of content, I'll take the PS4 version instead.
So, any new on the Vita port?
Thanks

I have a PS4 as well, but I feel that with the setback, that yeah. The Vita port may not happen as well. I mean if another handheld PS comes out, then why not just switch to that one? Current gen and all that...
'Tis a sad time for the Wii U. :[

On the latest BCB with Ben Judd, Ben very briefly mentions about the Vita port after thoroughly explaining the Wii U port scenario with Bloodstained. The BCB in particular is right here. Around the 42:25 mark, after XombieMike asks Ben about the Vita version, Ben says "It is not a problem" and "All the Vita-ites should not be worried."We'll just have to wait it out until 2017 if indeed the Vita port will still be feasible an option as it is now, given the Vita isn't in such a dire situation as the Wii U at the moment. Hopefully we'll know for sure before XombieMike does interview with Ben Judd part 3

As Azure mentioned, Ben said not to worry and unless someone decides to pop up with a official, definitive yes/no, this is the best answer you're gonna get.
We know that the Vita has more units sold than the Wii U and still sells better on a weekly basis (Japan figures), it doesn't have an announced cancellation and Iga and the team probably want a handheld version. This all goes in favor of a Vita version still being planned for release. However, there are too many unknown variables to give you a solid "it is profitable, it will happen" answer. We don't know how many backers the Vita version had, what kind of contract Iga has with Armature or how successful Armature was with adapting the engine to the console's architecture.

I'll keep my fingers cross until the next announcement then. I know that Armature has some experience with the Vita, let's hope it pays out.
