It's not a Kickstarter, but David Bull has done a Kickstarter previously (to set up a woodblock shop in Asakusa -- he recarved the Great Wave for that one).

Now he's appealing to Studio Ghibli with the idea of bringing their creations to life in woodblock prints. He's gotten no response from the Studio, so he's appealing to people to state their support, or for people who know people, etc to pass on the word.

Check it out if you love woodblock prints and/or Studio Ghibli!
