Wasn't sure where to put this but i searched for "Berserker" and didn't see any results so here we go.
In several "castlevania style" games I remember there being an armor, item / whatever that allowed you to do a great deal more damage at the expense of basically being a walking death waiting to happen upon stumping your toe.
This is something that I could live without so if its this or something unique or new then just take that into consideration, but i became quite fond of this style of item in the last days of playing stuff like CVHD, SotN and other titles which give a reason to do so. I was basically wondering if this was a staple we were likely to see and if it is how would the community want it to be implemented? I only care that the function is met at some point in some way by some thing that ISN'T a weapon. If there's a weapon that does that too that's amazing as well, you'll get zero complaints from me there, but I'd like an option that's independent of that requirement.
Thoughts?

Berserker style play, be it via armor or weapon; I approve.

the Death Rings on OoE accomplished the same thing, and its a very fun way to play from time to time. I'd be down for a huge risk/reward item to shake things up. Miriam seems to really favor headbands and circlets, so maybe some kind of Skull Circlet that spikes her offenses but gives a chance for insta-death any time she gets hit would be a cool option.

That's kind of the idea I'm going for with my weapon. Love risk/reward play styles

Yeah, I think it is a cool concept. If Bloodstained has something along the same lines, I'm good with that.

The Pluto/Black Dog combination in CotM turned you into a skeleton that got killed in one hit, but you had a small chance of throwing a larger bone that did 9,999 damage. If there was a similar concept or shard combination in Bloodstained, I would be all for it.
Just things from a magical standpoint, rather than a physical. (Equipment) :)

Torg, i look forward to seeing what possible combinations of these exist. Glad to hear you all liking the suggestion as well. The one shot play-through is going to be real.

Yes and no.
Yes for it would be really fun incentive in speedrunning the game since you deal way more damage but have to be very careful with enemies. No for every single time I've encountered this type of item in Castlevania games, I've always put it on, raged, unequip it, then feel like I'm doing damage with a toothpick, rinse and repeat.
