Aren't they revealing their stretch goals a little too early? People are going to see those goals and think, "Shit, no physical PS4 copy, or Shenmue 1&2 remastered/re-release? I'm out." and then close the window. Even worst, there is no paypal option, or backer achievements to hype things up. This kickstarter campaign is a train wreck.  Here are the projections, and trend graphs:   Nice mountain slide. I never see other projects that has backer achievements, only RotN is the first one I see that has backer achievement Regardless, it worked perfectly for generating hype. You'd think Shenmue 3's kickstarter campaign manager would have learned a thing or two from Bloodstained's overwhelming success. |

This kickstarter now has a better chance of hitting its 10 mil goal, i will push this game till the 17th and if it has a slacker backer i will keep going till i burn out. After bloodstained this is one of my other dream games to come and happen.

I went ahead and pledged to this, purely stemming from nostalgic factors. I'm happy he's optimistic, but I still feel a little more hopeful with Iga's project.....I don't know, he just handled it better in my eyes.

What are you talking about? It's data that has been taken in a 2 min lapse. What's worrying though is that there was only 216 new backers since yesterday and how there's someone messing with the money, that's why looking at the backers is more relevant as of right now... And it doesn't look well, I agree

Or perhaps it is people who have become disheartened or displeased and are going back and picking lower tiers or legitimately canceling their pledge and then others are stepping in at the higher tiers to take their place. That happened several times with Bloodstained. Perfect example comes to mind is SOTN4EVA. He eventually backed out completely and someone very quickly took his place. |

Some people are probably legit canceling their pledge. The money went down several times in very small increments recently.

Someone immediately took that high-priced tier like it was nothing. Would love to take a survey of PS4 owners jumping aboard, finding out they would have to wait for the official release for a physical copy, then backing out to save their money. More likely to be non-Shenmue fans, that's for sure. |
