So we're on this forum because we all like video games, and I definitely think that strong characters is what makes a video game good. From character building to in-your-face personalities, how a character is perceived can have a huge impact on the plot of a story, and I've always loved characters that give you the feels, and villains you LOVE to hate. So a couple of mine include:
Zexion - Kingdom hearts 358/2 Days
Zexion the cloacked schemer, is a recurring character from the series Kingdom Hearts. Zexion is a very intelligent individual, who manipulates illusions to fight for him, and is opt for using his illusions to trick others into doing his bidding, rather than dirtying his hands himself. Zexion is described as "an intellectual with no room for feelings." I find this to draw me to him. I consider myself to be apathetic at times, and tend to use my mechanical rationality, much to the disdain of others.
Undyne - Undertale
Undyne is one of the main characters from the Indie game, Undertale, and is in my opinion one of the most fiery characters in gaming. Undyne is an aquatic fish woman who works in an army for the king of monsters, Asgore. The goal of said army, is to collect 7 human SOULS so that the gateway between the monster world and the human world can be breached. Throughout the story, you will fight Undyne. 2 times in the pacifist version, and once in the genocide version. After said battle, (if playing the pacifist route) Undyne will run off, and you can later find her to converse with her, and learn more about her. She talks about things such as bonding with another character, papyrus, training with Asgore to be a soldier in the monster army, her deep crush on Asgore's personal scientist, Alphys, ETC. And don't even get me started on her cooking lesson with the main protagonist, Frisk. :p All in all, Undyne is a character that grows very much throughout the story, and I would describe her as protective, fierce, and hilarious. :D
Escavalier - Pokémon Black/White
Escavalier is a recurring Pokémon in the main series, that first appeared in the games Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version. Escavalier's Pokedex entry reads as: (White) "These Pokémon evolve by wearing the shell covering of a Shelmet. The steel armor protects their whole body." and (Black) "They fly around at high speed, striking with their pointed spears. Even when in trouble, they face opponents bravely." I find this to be very inspiring. I've...always been very protective of my friends, and I want to protect them, but...I'm uhh...not the strongest...hehe. Idk I just think that Escavalier is very inspiring, and I think the design is very cool. I would love to wear armor and deter threats with spears. >:D
...and that's just to name a few. But anyway, what are your guy's favorite video game characters? Are there any video game characters that inspire you?
