Well, maybe not that freely. Since Miriam's hair is styled, there likely isn't a way to let it flow quite like that and still look good. It does need some flexibility though.

I sincerely hope, mod or otherwise, that they do something about Miriam's hair. I must admit that the game is progressing beautifully. I didn't at first, but now I absolutely adore the art direction. The one sore spot is our protagonist's hair. It needs the Alucard treatment. As it stands, it's just so stiff. I agree. Right now its a helmet hair. The hair needs to move with the same physics as the scarf. Demonic Hair Oil Treatment, for that shiny stiff feelz. |

You should post mods on the nexus, steam workshop is very restrictive, also backers that chose the DRM free version won't be able to download from it.

We don't know if mods will be possible for any future versions of Bloodstained. The E3 demo was unencrypted, so that's how we were able to easily replace the files it came with. If this was a mistake by IntiCreates, there is a good chance future versions will be encrypted. That is, unless we convince IGA otherwise.

I'm not giving the idea to encrypt it. That was done when IGA realized a music track was in there that he didn't want to premiere yet, and it also revealed some weapon content not yet meant to be seen.
Some of the magic can be spoiled by accessing the game files.
I propose a compromise that will allow people to have enough unspoiled and unmodded time with the game upon release.
If IGA has the game encrypted to start with, but a password required to unpack the assets, he can leave clues in the game that after enough trying we can figure out the unlock code. That way we earn it. It need to be hidden well enough so that it takes about a year to find.
Of course, if one static password is in a modder's way, they would naturally just want to throw a password crack at it.

Oh, I had forgotten there are impatient ones that wouldn't have second thoughts on exploiting data that way.
It's sort of shadowy a practice to me, but for them it's akin to finding a buried treasure.
Maybe they should get an easter egg like "Hey you, no touchy" upon trying to open some files.
...and so, I can't really understand crackers.

Perhaps this could just come later as part of a supported Steam feature they release down the line (Workshop, etc?), similar to how the staggered content is later rolled out. That way, the game isn't too ridiculously altered/broken in the first months/year of release. |

In fact Capcom is doing all kinds of stuff to counter modding with there updates, but people find ways around it, usually, in a few days. This will probably depend on how popular this game will be with modders though. If no one is interested I assume it will take a very long time for it to get cracked open. exalt9 I still have an idea for a reskin, actually I have a bunch of ideas for a whole bunch of things, but sadly my time is limited. I posted not too long ago about my desire to get back and mod BS. In fact I managed to find some files I thought I lost, so if I get back to it that will speed things up considerably. |

Thanks for sharing that XombieMike. I actually uploaded that before the music was technically available and had it set to private because I wasn't sure if I was allowed to do that! I didn't want to accidentally "leak" what was leaked by many others on Reddit and stuff and get in trouble for it. I'm hyped to actually see what they use Cursed Orphan for. |
