What about forging familiars or even disposable demons like bomb demons That could be cool, like finding all the armor pieces for the knight familiar and combine it with a demon soul to create the knight, or something similar. now what about crafting armor or weapons for you familiars.
as i said in another post these weapons and armor only change the looks (armor) and weapon of the familiar. not the stats

now what about crafting armor or weapons for you familiars. as i said in another post these weapons and armor only change the looks (armor) and weapon of the familiar. not the stats I don't see the point of that, to be honest. If there were just cosmetic skins for the familiars, and they were unlockable, that'd be fine (like for example reskinning the Knight familiar to floating Shovel Knight), but if these were craftable items, they should have an actual gameplay effect.

I second this thought. Crafting stuff should give a benefit to something, and not just be cosmetics. Even if it isn't stats, it could be something like Attack Speed, Movement Speed, giving passive boosts to Miriam, etc.

I think it would be cool to find some of those armor pieces but I would take more pride if I could make them. they could have other effects like giving the familiar a new move or something but making something for a familiar you are raising would make some players take pride in the familiar more IMO

Now that there are more people, I am wondering if people would like to talk more about forging/crafting. These are my ideas for forging (not necessarily only found in this thread): - there should be a room for forging (it should be in Miriam's room)
- there should be forge only weapons and armor and there should be unique that can only be found (or a monster drop)
- We should be able to forge costumes for our familiars
- We should be able to forge weapons for our familiars (I think the weapons should give familiars special moves)
- Some of Miriam's (and other playable characters) should have craftable costumes
and new things: - To forge better equipment you need to find better hammers
- Also you'll need better fire... this can be achieved by either finding monster fire cores, tame fire demons, or lv up your fire familiar
this is my thoughts on forging... and I haven't even touched on forgable items...
