It is going to be a musou game, like Dynasty Warriors and Senran Kagura. Funny enough, this will be localized because of the partnership of XSEED with Marvelous, but we still don't have Fate Extra CCC. Oh well.
But whatever, I really don't care that much about this game, I JUST WANT TSUKIHIME REBIRTH GOD DAMMIT TYPE MOON!

Hmm....it has my attention. It looks like it could be really cool.
My hope is that they have at least one in character for each class. The current standing is 3 Sabers, 2 Archers, and 1 Caster. That is my only hope. But, hopes are reality are separated by a thick line called "fact". Also, did anyone catch what that 6.2 was in the trailer? It probably doesn't mean anything but...I'm curious.

Plus, if you ever played a musou-styled game then you would know that there are enemies that are quite strong and aren't afraid to attack you. |

Call of duty is a completely different genre. Its not better or worse.
Im complaining that this wont be more like other 3rd person melee games like ninja gaiden, souls, dmc, even batman.
Seeing zelda go musou route, and this, and others I likely forgot cuz I lose interest.
And yes I have actually played a musou game. 8 legends. Or was 9 legends? A recent one at any rate. The only enemies who attack are leaders and bosses, but the challenge they provide is equivilent to cheap trash in regular games.
I dont mind if people like or want easy games mind you. I like options, but playing that game I felt like I couldnt adjust it to my tastes regardless.

Everyone has their opinions and their tastes. Also, not all musou games are easy and I've never heard of Legends. The only one I played was One Piece Pirate Warriors (or something). That game started off easy and then it got really hard because of three different things: the enemies weren't wussies or cowards, there were hazards such as poisonous smoke and cannons firing, and the "bosses" inflicted A LOT of damage if they hit you. Each one is different so you can't judge them all by the just one. |

Ghalion, do you mean Arslan Senki: Warriors of Legends?
Because this game is the most recent musou games that I know, and this game is easy, compared to Dynasty Warriors or Samurai Warriors

I apologize, I think I'm leading this into too off-topic a direction, so I welcome any PM's responding this rather than thread replies. But... here goes.
I think that first line belongs more in response to yourself than me. Call of duty is not garbage... many people like it, your personal opinion is not the fact.
Nothing I said says it's amazing, nor nothing I said musou sucks, I just said what I personally didn't like/didn't understand... chastizing me about personal tastes when I deliberately mentioned this only leads me to believe you aren't even trying to understand any other opinions, and are hyperbolizing your own thinking it'll help convince others when it only makes them more jaded.
I dont like musou games, a lot.. I played the most current benchmark of them all, I didn't criticize your experience, and I took no offense to your obvious attempt at criticizing mine based on ignorance. I didn't even try to convince you that other tastes are wrong, you did to myself on the other hand.
I said what I did not because I'm trying to convince people to not buy the next fates game, but because I just wish to convey my personal feelings that I'm interested in a more gameplay oriented fates game (I like the ones on psp after all, wish ccc was localized though!), but after hearing certain details about this one, my opinion is 'BAWWWWW'.
