For a while now I have been mulling over a tough decision. Should posts in the forum games count in users post count? I would never wish to discourage a reason for spending time here, but I also don't want to make post counts less meaningful due to one or two word posts. Therefore I have decided to allow word game to happily continue, but not have posts on this section of the forum increase your post count.
If this dissapoints you please feel free to talk about it here. Same goes for supporting this idea. Nothing is set in stone, as this is everyone's forum.

I don't see a problem with it--in most other forums I've seen, the "crazy stuff/games" subforum didn't contribute to post counts for the reason you describe. I'm fine with either decision, but unless there's a high demand for keeping post counts over there, I support yours.

I'd be fine with either way, but I'm also leaning towards disabling post count for the reasons you mentioned. Post count isn't important to me and a lot of my posts here are just funny pics and gifs.

It is visible in the user's profile page already. I could remove it from under the avatars, but I think people like it the way it is. If others feel the same way you do, they will need to speak up. |

I remember posting something about something like this a while back...hm... bloodstainedfanforums.com/post/5654/threadYeah, a few people agreed with that idea and then SML was like "nah we don't need it" haha. Oh well I don't think I have any posts in forum games iirc. I think it's a sound decision. |

I was wondering about this myself since most of my posts are in this particular area. xD I don't think forum game posts should count--or perhaps you can keep a second "full" count available in the profile only? It doesn't really matter, though. I agree with your decision.
