I like to imagine IGA stopping by the forums randomly, seeing the donut thread, and thinking to himself "What's this? These fans and my CM are planning to give us donuts? B-but... that interferes with my cream waffle day! I'll have to move it up! I can't let those fans steal my thunder, especially if one of them is a weirdo with an avatar of an anime character wearing their underwears as a hat!". Then he'd just go to a random Japanese pastry shop and buy a bunch of waffle-related pastries in a manner similar to The Grinch stealing presents while some guy with a deep voice sings a song about what he's doing. But once he see the donuts we all chipped in for, his heart will grow three sizes that day... and then he'll have to be sent to the hospital because that kind of heart-related activity ain't normal, and I don't think any of us wants a dead IGA during Bloodstained's development time.

The cream waffles were just a coincidence. He randomly drops by and gives us chocolates and candies. The other week he bought us Cold Stones on his way back from a meeting. This time he went out to look at the new offices and came back with cream waffles.
