Yeah, interestingly though, we seem concentrated on the east coast in the US. Clear's all by his lonesome over there in Cali. Slightly weird D: There definitely ARE other Castlevania fans besides me within the entire state of California. I swear I remember hanging out with some back in elementary school, and I did all my education so far here in CA. So I'm sure that some more Bloodstained fans from the west will surface, eventually. By the way, aren't the Kinda Funny Games crew from SF? They hosted that 8-hour Igavania kickstarter launch with Colin, Iga, Ben, and a whole bunch of others. I'm guessing that Colin from Kinda Funny must be a Bloodstained fan, and I heard that he lives in SF. So there you have it... I'm not the only one!  I'm a Colin fan. That dude is alright. |

In addition to members locations, can we use the map to recommend places like local restaurants, arcades, game/anime/comic stores, or tourist attractions? I thought it'd be useful if one member visits another member's city for work, vacations, or cons.

Yeah, I think clutter might be an issue as well. I'm not that knowledgeable about google maps, but I think that issue could be avoided if there were options for multiple lists/categories.
I actually did ask a member before I went to PAX. Anyone can google places to see/eat or things to do, but recommendations from locals can be much more valuable than random yelp reviews. But I also think recommendations on maps like that would be a neat little extra thing to have just for the sake of having it (if possible).

Let's limit it to Bloodstained related markers. Members and conventions are perfect, but I'm open to other things too. If you want local details, ask the person closest to that location on the map. It's meant to get people talking together, and the best local curry place is a perfect conversation starter.

Ooh. Totally Goob's fault, but now I really want to point out the great arcade/games place near me. They're Castlevania fans and excited for Bloodstained, and imo the best arcade for several states' distance. They have all Japanese style cabs with a lot of fighting games, Cave shooters, classic 90s stuff. It would be the most notable place to visit in the state for fans of video games lol. www.lostarkvideogames.com/the-arcade/It's in Greensboro, which is not quite an hour and a half west of Raleigh. n the store, they have some of those -really- old consoles that I'd not even seen in person before. I'm not exactly sure who's trying to buy an...Intellivision and stuff like that, but they have it lol, and pretty much everything else. I've seen SNES Harvest Moon, PC Engine Rondo of Blood (that somebody else bought before I could lol), all of the major classic PS1 RPGs and A LOT OF GUNDAMS. They have a lot of figures, but they're not all for sale since the dude that owns the place likes them too much lol. Maybe one local spotlight area per member, if they have something relevant? I like a lot of restaurants myself, but that seems kind of extraneous. |

Wasn't me, unless you put one on Ocala. Someone had a marker called Ocala over Ocala Florida that had no other information about it. @anon I remember seeing you up north though. Someone must have thought it wasn't tied to a user name or something... Sorry, I can't restrict people from doing stuff like that. Edit: I see several markers missing now and that anon has deleted all their posts and user account. That's sad. I didn't expect this map to create a problem like that. Everyone add your marker back and I can back it up. I don't want to do backups and restores often though. I have a backup of how it is now.  |

Was it the one near Houston? That may have been my fault. I was trying to move the map over, but somehow or another dragged that marker slightly northeast, like from...around Hockley to closer to Tomball? After I realized I had done that, I tried to move it back again but couldn't. Something weird might have happened with my browser, the forums are moving really slow too.
