Stop making me go back and play Lament of Innocence! .....again...... That game frustrates me It's got such a good fighting system with really great animations, and the graphics itself look really nice. If it weren't for the repetitive level design the game could have been pretty amazing. That one set back really hurts it because otherwise it's a beautiful game in almost every way.

I loved figuring out what effect different orbs would have on what sub-items (much like how it is done with the books in Harmony of Dissonance). Everything about the gameplay is spot on in LoI. Level design could have used some work, but is something I forgive due to everything else being amazing.
As you have said, the atmosphere and feel of LoI is amazing and something I want replicated in Bloodstained.
Look and feel of Lament of Innocence (but in 2.5D) + Music at SotN level = Amazing game. (As long as combat and story are up to par......)

Yes, this is true. Ah, House of Sacred Remains + the sound of picking up hearts in LoI is actually nostalgic for me.
(Also, Garden Forgotten by Time and Dark Palace of Waterfalls, Leon's Theme....dang, the list just keeps going....)

Will be interesting to see how this new set of feedback plays out. Hopefully not everyone was as wordy as I was.

I know this sounds wierd but I like how the hair looks in 3 but prefer the realism of 1. Mostly because I don't like the thick drawing like lines of 3.

( summarize it I guess) Hey Dan, unfortunately the survey period is over and I can't go into the edit page to copy what I said, but...pretty sure I was talking about how I had noticed all the candles were in the background and asked how they were going to manage having floating unattached sconces/lanterns in the middle of 3D space, lol, if they do indeed change it to that. IGA did confirm breakable candles, so I was eh...somewhat concerned. I also brought up Astaroth's and my bit about the floating petal replacing the heart (if necessary to replace). And...told them they should let Mana art things. Probably made other demands.

I prefer the less cartoonish character one, but I can see Im the only one that does xD Not true. I've been favoring character 1 as soon as the update dropped. You are not alone! Great to see that! I really think she looks cleaner and more detailed.

The first shader pics were very simple but with the new pics they seriously nailed EXACTLY what I was saying. It's gritty but colorful and detailed. I will repeat these same words over and over till we get something new...sadly :/ I thought the same, the first background was so simple, but now man... we are talking serious igavania business. Where Mirror of fate failed, Bloodstained will arise. This new pics look like the 2.5 real deal.

Incase this got pushed out of the shoutbox and people missed out on reading it, Mana gave an update about the next update. I'm sure a lot of people are looking forward to the update 35 shader poll results. Thank you for the update update, Mana!

I guess it would be appropriate to post another update on the update here haha. We've talked it over with Fangamer and decided that we should break our new content into separate updates by subjects. This way, we can focus on one subject per update and have time for refinement on the rest of the contents we're working on.
This month's update is going to be on the shader results and the additional "bonus" I was talking about. I want to let everyone know that we've made a lot of progress this month! Thanks for all the feedbacks!

Thanks for all the feedbacks! So if the subject of updates is to become more focused is the plan to still continue with once-a-month updates or make smaller, more frequent updates? Or if an update is subject specific "go ham" with content on that subject? I only ask because it seems the next update will now have less content than teased previously? Either way, thank you for updating us on the update and the updates in general as well. Hopefully I don't at all sound ungrateful, that is not my intent <3

Either way, thank you for updating us on the update and the updates in general as well. Hopefully I don't at all sound ungrateful, that is not my intent <3 We're sticking to once a month update. Instead of having inconsistent updates, it would be better to break the updates evenly every month. This means we can go ham on one subject instead of summarizing 3 different topics in one update. We just have a lot of new content for different areas this time, it's going to lose it's focus and hype if we let it out in one blow. Welp, it just means I gave hints for the next couple of updates.....Also, it would make my job easier! If we focus on one topic, all the feedback would be based on that one topic. I don't have to guess if someone's opinion is for one topic over another. And no, you don't sound ungrateful at all! Thanks for being understanding. I wouldn't want to promise something big and let everyone down with something less. It's hard to contain my excitement when I share new info .

I wouldn't want to promise something big and let everyone down with something less. It's hard to contain my excitement when I share new info . Ok that makes sense to a degree. I guess my, unfounded concern (?), was that instead of an update consisting of (made up numbers ahead) 1200 total words and 9 pictures about 3 subjects with 400 words + 3 pictures devoted to each subject we'd just get an update with 400-800 words and 3-6 pictures on one subject. If the updates are just a content packed as before (1200 words + 9 pictures) but now more strictly themed, that seems fine to me. Though I guess you get into a situation where say an update one month is devoted to weapons but if you make updates mono-subject, then you don't get to talk about weapons again for months. That's maybe why you were asking about alternate ways to do small updates/teases as a way to fill in data on already touched upon subjects that may not be covered in major updates for a while. Or if not at least you have a potential avenue to avoid that issue.

I am so glad to hear the team has made progress in the development! I think the beginnings are always the hardest. I can`t wait to hear about the results of the polls. It would make sense to see some animation with the chosen shaders at this moment in the development to get some feedback on time. A few words from IGA is the most satisfying part of the update for me, I really like to hear him excited about the progress of the game development.

Hey guys, the Kickstarter has a new "Community" tab with some interesting data. For example, the city with the most backers was Tokyo, though the most backers by country was the US by a large margin.

I could see people in Germany & Australia taking interest in this game too, but I never expected people from Sweden. Then again...a certain PewDiePie is Swedish.
