As a fan of Screw attack's Death Battle series, I felt it wouldn't hurt to make a topic dedicated to the franchise. Are there any battles you enjoyed watching, any outcomes you agree with, dont agree with? Are there any death battles you would like to see? But yes, the primary reason I made this topic was for two simple facts:
Excuse me while I squeal with excitement in the corner

Either Shiek or Midna. Unless Shiek referenced in the Zelda vs. Peach episode... I don't recall.
I'd be a lot more hype for Midna than Shiek, though.

I've seen people toss out the idea of Bayonetta vs. Ganondorf
if you think about it, it makes sense: The Left Eye of the world vs. The Triforce of Power
I mean really of all the Zelda characters in existance, the only ones who could put up a fight against bayonetta would be a wielder of the Triforce, or one of the series Gods. Hylia, Nayru, Faore, Din, and perhaps even Demise.

Given the "giant hair fist", it MIGHT be Midna.

Given the "giant hair fist", it MIGHT be Midna. There's also that Death Battle is generally (not a rule, but certainly the trend) two characters of the same or similar genders, rather than 2 of different. Edit: Also, Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD is coming out here soon, though that could also point to Ganon. Personally, I also find Midna to be a FAAAAR more interesting character than Ganon, but that's just my opinion, so yeah.

There are three match ups that I'd to see.
Christie (Dead or Alive) vs Nina (Tekken) Bugs Bunny vs Mickey Mouse (How is this not a thing?) Mr Hankey (South Park) vs Great Might Poo (Conker's bad fur day)
I know. I know. The whole idea behind that last one is want a shitty fight in every sense of the word.

I'm still waiting for Saitama.
Saitama vs. Superman seems like the only interesting matchup, but they seem to have a strong Superman bias despite hating how OP he is.

Personally, I also find Midna to be a FAAAAR more interesting character than Ganon, but that's just my opinion, so yeah. The issue with Midna is the fact that while she might have the same aesthetic as Bayonetta, shes no where near Bayonetta in terms of power and fighting capabilities. in her imp form she only has a small fraction of magic she has normally, and has to rely on her fused shadow in order to be a threat. Keep in mind the end of Twilight Princess when Midna Teleported Link and Zelda out of the throne room to fight Ganondorf with the full power of the fused shadow, he was able to beat her, steal her fused shadow, and destroy it in front of Link and Zelda giving the impression he had killed Midna in order to get it. And thing is we don't know if he did or not, for all we know he could have killed her and the spirits of light were able to bring her back, that part of the game is purposely left vague. HW shows that at full power, and with the mirror of twilight, she doesn't need the Fused Shadow anymore, but no longer uses her hair for fighting and instead just teleports items to her side via the mirror. In both cases Bayonetta would just have to snatch the fused shadow, or the twilight mirror, and Midna might not last long. Especially since an in-game Bayonetta series mechanic is Bayonetta being able to steal her enemies weapons, and use them against said enemies. If Bayonetta managed to snatch Midna's fused shadow, or mirror of twilight, she could use them against Midna and completely destroy her. Let's not forget that Bayonetta is also capable of slowing time, is capable of stacking her time slowing spells, can head butt a falling sky scraper, and can flip a plunging satellite with her thighs and send it flying back up into the sky. She has, on two occasions, killed a god, and is in possession of The Left Eye of The World. the Eyes of The World are are essentially the Bayo Universe equivalent of the Zelda Universes Triforce. The only person I think capable of taking on Bayonetta would be a wielder of the Triforce. Two of the beings who can have already been featured in a Death Battle: Link vs. Cloud, and Zelda vs. Peach. The only other Triforce wielder to not be featured in a Death Battle is capable of many of the same feats Bayo is. Hes a powerful warlock, with access to deadly powerful dark magics. Is an expert with multiple different weapon types from his many incarnations, including HW. And Hyrule Warriors grants Ganondorf the ability to summon a shadow variation of his beast form and attack with it, which could be used to counter Bayonetta's Wicked Weaves. Not to mention both are sexy as hell, well ... as a gay man I can say with absolute certainty that Ganondorf is~ Warning NSFW Butt. (Xombiemike edit) And since his re-design for Hyrule Warriors, its safe to say that a large portion of the worlds populace agrees with me~ ✨

And since his re-design for Hyrule Warriors, its safe to say that a large portion of the worlds populace agrees with me~ ✨ Could Midna herself be a threat to Bayonetta? No, but there have been one sided Death Battles before (like Kratos vs. Spawn or Superman vs. Goku 2). However, Ganon wouldn't be any threat to Bayonetta, either. Ganon is one of, if not, the most powerful sorcerer(s) in the Legend of Zelda series, yet every single time he rises to power he's taken down by a scrappy kid with weird contraptions. Bayonetta? She takes down giants like it's just another day at the office. Not to mention the Madama Butterfly. To your last point, as a gynesexual person, I find True-Form/Twili Midna to be incredibly beautiful, really alluring and rather sexy, and I'm not the only one either (I mean, DeviantArt). Not to mention that Midna is also a pretty popular character among LoZ fans. Anyways, I'm not trying to disparage or disregard your opinion: it probably will end up being Ganon, though I think there is a really good case to be made for Midna to be Bayo's opponent.

Veering off between the two, Wander has proven that a giant can be defeated by a mere human with a pointy sword. Bayonetta takes down the same level of beasts, but she overpowers them in both size and power. Even Link takes down these sorts of beasts, but with ingenuity instead. Princesses in the Zelda series have been very well known for being incompetent with their power, so I can't say for sure that Midna would honestly display the same feats as Link, but it's possible. Ganon is another story entirely, while I don't think he has the same power as Bayonetta, he has the cunning to use his power in the most effective way, and will hide away while he is vulnerable until then.

xCROOKEDx I honestly think its safe to say that, regardless of who ever she fights , it is going to be a hella awesome battle to watch. Bayonetta her self is fun to watch in her series cutscenes, and during her fights. And it's getting to see that same level of cinematic action applied to ANY Zelda character, be it Midna or Ganondorf, is going to be absolutely awesome.

Yeah. Even when Death Battle tries to incorporate real world science and math into their outcomes, whoever wins is still a matter of opinion. After all, the only reason why fictional characters do anything in stories or win/lose fights is because an author or creative person said so.

The "Kirby vs. Majin Buu" and "Raiden vs. Wolverine" fights certainly were accurate. I even liked the "Beast vs. Goliath" video. Ah, the throw-back to that classic cartoon...Gargoyles.

After all, the only reason why fictional characters do anything in stories or win/lose fights is because an author or creative person said so. To be fair the winners of the fights arent chosen by a person, but actually a computer. The info they have about a character, their histories, their fighting styles, weaknesses and such, are all put into a battle simulator on a computer. The program calculates who the winner will be by a series of 'cyber fights' within the program. It will do a series of data based fights and then list the winners of each fight out of 100 fights. the one who has the most victories out of these data based battles is the one who is portrayed as the winner of the death battle final animation.

That's... just not how things work in creative fields. It's trying to apply a scientific, data-based solution to abstract, subjective ideas that don't consistently follow data or science. Characters and based on ideas and stories just can't be tamed or applied a "one size fits all" solution like that. They don't win fights because of their histories, abilities, strengths, weaknesses, or real-world science. They win or lose because of their popularity, status as main (or secondary) characters, what role they play in a story, the creative strengths of whoever's involved with their adventures (artists, writers or even the player's skill level), or whatever the marketing team says in order to sell comics/games/movies/merchandise/whatever. Fictional characters are puppets that do whatever whoever's behind them tells them to do. Everything with the battle simulator program sounds sounds like a method to sell the show and its results to fans or people who don't understand the nature of creativity. There's still a degree of opinion regarding how data is collected and presented; Programs are also only as good as the people who program/create them, whatever's considered as a priority in a program based on the opinions or whoever made or commissioned it, and there's also the "spin" factor in how data is gathered and/or pitched to audiences to convince them of one thing or another. This doesn't mean I'm trying to say "stop enjoying this thing you like". What I'm trying to get across is that I feel ScrewAttack is selling BS with Death Battle results in general when it's really subjective opinion.
