A concensus is always difficult... With personal taste and comparison of works...
But I'd like to interject before it is closed...
There is and always have seen quality difference from what Inafune-san has been involved with versus Igarashi-san.
Iga-san's has always insisted on more quality to make the game more immersive (he started as a programmer). Where as Inafune-san it depends on his role in the development (he started as an illustrator and object designer). Being a higher up at Capcom then breaking off to form Inter-Cept and Com-Cept kind of meane he was more involved in the internal works of the teams then the game development itself. It really depends. Inafune-san tended to settle when he could cut some corners.
I cannot say that Iga-san's has cut corners, as that is typical in the industry but with what he is involved in just feels like there is more quality. Could be the Capcom work environment versus Konami or their roles before now (Inafune-san getting to be part of the higher ups with Iga-san's remaining producer).
Inte-Creates was initially formed by ex-Capcom staff who worked on the SNES Megaman (X) games. So they are used to Inafune-san's direction rather Iga-sans. But they are usuling what they got to show off what they can work with, not something in final. There is massive differences between alpha work, beta work and the gold work. Iga-san's will ensure quality or he wouldn't have gone the route he did. Kickstarter to be his own team versus other producers to have to have a consensus...
I trust Iga-san more so that Inafune-san. They are just a world of difference. Neither are up to Kojima-sans level of insisted quality but Iga-san is closed than Inafune-san. I am not implying one is worse than the other (or that I'm using personal taste for this), I am however suggesting that different roots and roles has led to noticeable quality difference.
Inti-Creates has done all kinds of work. 2d, 2.5d, 3d... They will be able to commune what Iga-san wants. Or he wouldn't have chosen them. He would have gone with Arc Systems, VanillaWare, WayForward Technologies or Snk Playmore for a stretch...

Do you think they can pull it off like the game Strider ? Double Helix Games developed Battleship: The Video Game, a universally reviled game, 2 years earlier, then went on to release Killer Instinct 2013 (which is almost universally praised) a little over a year later. I think at this point you're simply trying to vilify Inti Creates. It's fine to have some doubts, but they are a bit unfounded until the game gets later in it's development cycle. It's been a little over 6 monthes since the end of the Kickstarter - that's like 1/5th-ish of the total development time, and they're probably just finishing up pre-production stuff right now (concept art, story writing, engine customization, etc.).

Universaly reviled game? you serious.. it got a 2 out a 10 with a epic fail rating. That game had mayor flaws. And Killer Instinct 2013 Universal praised as well, huh a average wide nation score of 6.0 out of 10. Maybe you need to re evaluate the word universal.

Maybe you need to reevaluate the word reviled.
edit: I'm not really trying to be mean here, but you're bringing it on yourself. I think you missed his point completely because you thought reviled means the opposite of what it does, so...your sharp-tongued retort just kind of lacks any meaning.

Okay, so KI2013 wasn't loved by all, but it's still a pretty well reviewed game. However, I think you mistook what one of my words meant - reviled means something actively hated or despised. From Google Dictionary: "criticized in an abusive or angrily insulting manner." Anyways, the point I was trying to make was Double Helix, who you were trying to use as an example, made a bunch of mediocre or down-right awful titles, then came back and made KI2013 and Strider. Just because a company makes a shit title doesn't mean that all of their games are going to be terrible from then on out. And, to that point, we don't even know if MN09 is good or not, as the game hasn't been released yet sans BETA TESTS to backers. The other point, is, again, we've only seen (essentially) 3 screen shots of Bloodstained in an obviously early state (I mean, did you see the model of the chair?) after only a few months of development. It's FAR too early to state whether the game is going to be good or not, or whether the studio developing it is going to do a good job. I think they will - most of their past work seems pretty damn solid. If not, oh well - I guess I get a cool slip-cover box to keep on the shelf then. As an aside, I suggest you go watch Double Fine Adventure documentary that shows the development of Broken Age; while the genre of game is different, it does a pretty good job of showing off what game development is like. On that note, Double Fine's Amnesia Fortnight 2014 documentary is also a good watch on the subject. Both can be found on Double Fine's YouTube page.
