This Kickstarter actually finished a few months ago. The author's now in the process of shipping the books.
I got to submit an idea for a monster to be in the yearbook photo section of the book. I submitted the idea of a 9-tailed fox from Japanese lore, but that his tails would be tipped with chasen (tea whisks) and he would be holding a chawan (tea bowl). And the artist created a pretty sweet version of the idea...

Anyway, if you're curious, check out the book. It's very cute -- a precocious girl who gets adopted by monsters. The kickstarter did so well, he also created a monster "book of hugs," in which Victoria Jr is hugging lots of crazy monsters. Anyway, the author's likely to do more in this series, so check it out if that's your thing...!
