Warning, this is just my opinion. Hate, despise, disgusted. You're just buying toys with the excuse that they give some small bonus for Wii U games, and they're all over $10. I wouldn't touch Amiibos with a ten-foot pole. Though I have to admit, it's a great way to make easy money on Nintendo's part since it appeals to collectors. This pretty much. I just don't understand the plastic toy craze. I've seen too much negativity surrounding it to turn me off from it completely. Those that do collect and enjoy them, more power to you. |

You know I think it'd be pretty neat if Bloodstained had Amiibo support and like, made it so SSB4 Amiibos were compatible with bloodstained. Put an amiibo on the game pad while playing Bloodstained and Miriam can unlock new costumes or weapons. How awesome would it be if Miriam could have a Zelda costume, or run around using the Master Sword. placing the Palutena Amiibo gets her a Palutena costume, a Pit Amiibo getting her Palutenas Bow, the weapon he uses in Smash Bros.

And in the end of it I'll take satisfaction in knowing that not only did I get an awesome new action figure, but an awesome action figure that is compatible with various games on my Wii U  |

I'd certainly enjoy Bloodstained amiibo. A Miriam amiibo at the very least. But while it would obviously work with Bloodstained, I wonder how much use the amiibo would have going forward.
Nintendo did defy my prediction and is getting an exceptional amount of use out of the Mega Man, Pacman, and Sonic amiibos (I had previously assumed that they wouldn't be doing much of anything besides being amiibo fighters in Smash.) but I still wonder how much I'd be doing with Miriam outside of Bloodstained. Though it would be hilarious to give Yoshi a Miriam costume in Wooly World.
I do like that Nintendo is letting you unlock the amiibo costumes in Super Mario Maker via the 10-Mario Challenge/100-Mario Challenge even if you don't actually have the amiibo. You don't need to be insane to get your hands on the Lucario or Meta Knight costumes. I'd enjoy a system where amiibo owners can unlock stuff painlessly, and non-amiibo owners still have a way to unlock the goods without the figures and without paying additional $ on the eShop.

I just wish amiibos weren't so expensive. Some are being sold for as much as a good quality figure even though they are so cheeply made, have u seen the palutania amiibo it looks horrible.
