Hey folks! If any of you are planning to attend PAX Prime 2015, IGA will be doing a Bloodstained panel on Saturday August 29th at 6pm (Seattle time). If you aren’t able to attend, no worries — we'll be broadcasting it live.
IGA will be talking about Bloodstained and Kickstarter, taking questions, and signing autographs afterwards. We’re planning to have a goofy game going throughout the panel where the audience will receive a set of “IGAchievements" (which will be kept secret from IGA, Ben, and Aizu). Those achievements will be phrases/actions that our beloved panelists might perform during the course of the panel — for example, quoting a line from SotN (think “Secret Word of the Day”).
If any of the achievements are still incomplete at the end of the talk, the audience can try to goad IGA and co. into performing them during the Q&A session. There might even be a small prize if the audience manages to check off every IGAchievement.
We’d love to hear from the fans about what sort of stuff you’d like to see & do at the Bloodstained panel. What are some questions you’d like IGA to answer? Let’s have some fun!

I have a question someone who messaged my Bloodstained fan page wanted to ask for them. This person asks: "Where there be any environments that stand out? I feel as if the castle in Symphony of the Night had environments that really popped out to me" My question is will you guys give my page a shout out?  I'm joking. My actual question is: Is IGA nervous about all the game modes the game is supposed to have? It's a lot more than he originally intended so I wonder if he's feeling the pressure. |

-How many crystals do Miriam and Gebel have on their bodies?
-Other than size, what will be the biggest difference between the castle in Bloodstained and the castles in the Castlevania games IGA worked on?
-Out of all the game modes Bloodstained is offering, which one are you looking forward to the most?

Because of the limits of budget and technology at the time of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night's development, the game did not have any combo attacks. My question is, will there be a combo system like the ones seen in other IGAvania-style games like Dust: an Elysian Tail or will Bloodstained maintain the one-slash-per-attack system of "Symphony of the Night"?

^ I'm also curious about the reception/feedback that may have been heard from others in the industry and those publishers themselves.
Mine:
Bloodstained isn't per se about vampire hunting, but could we see the return of things like holy water, crosses or other historic hunter weapons/holy items?
and
How has the game's concept and campaign been received in Japan? Are they as excited as we are?

Two questions:
Some of my favorite -vania game abilities involve transformation, though I always feel they could be implemented better. Will there be any shapeshifting abilities or shapeshifting story characters in this game?
One of the things that lead me to backing the project was the announcement of the rogue-like mode goal. I love this kind of feature! I feel that it gives players unique experiences, and adds to the enjoyment factor in replaying the game. Will there be any other modes or features that will have a strong focus on replay factor?

It's been five years since your last Castlevania as a producer in Harmony of Despair, how does it feel to come back on the rail with a new story on the genre you helped to shape, knowing that the Army of the Night is still alive and willing to support this new adventure?
Do you have any other silly hats? like, a mariachi one or a coonskin cap? can we expect Mirian to have some with the silly cheat codes? (just to clarify, I love your cowboy hat and whip lol)
