The panel at Anime Expo 2017 will go up later, but for now we got a sizzle reel which features a new track. Also, the InDemand on Indiegogo is now closed so now they take funding from backerkit. For anyone unaware, some kind of Bloodstained/Indivisible crossover is likely...Angel-Corlux very strongly hinted at this in the BCB. Journey back to 2015:
Miriam for Indivisible! It needs to happen! Hahahaha. The question is though, will it be her in their game, or Ajna somehow in Bloodstained? I'm still hoping the former, but what do you think, crocodile and Dragon_of_Dojima ?
Indivisible is certainly a better platform for crossover characters to drop in imo since they already have quite a few (even the canon story characters themselves more or less live in Ajna's head). In Bloodstained, I can't really picture the worlds merging very much. Mariel Cartwright (Indivisible character artist) had also drawn up a Miriam by request for one of us a while ago (who got her to do this? The question also is which would benefit Indivisible more, which I think is more important in this case. Either path would give it more good attention, I think, but selfishly I think it'd just be more fun having Miriam in their game. I need more incarnations that I like anyways.

I appreciate the enthusiasm purifyweirdshard! But remember, unless we officially confirm/announce something, always, always, ALWAYS temper expectations and don't assume things will be a certain way. The team and I are working as hard as we can to make sure everything about Bloodstained is as exciting and satisfying as possible, and it's ok to speculate and hope, but don't take things for confirmed or guaranteed unless they've been officially announced!

Man, the use of 2D and 3D here is looking amazing! I loved when they showed the rotated view on how the level is built. Having the level editor as part of the engine is awesome.

The part where the hero climbs the wall feels like rockman zero in GBA I am confused because I don't know it is an action/adventure game like rockman or rpg like vpro

It can't be both? It more or less is still an RPG, there's just more action/adventure than VP since the screen doesn't transition and there are progression abilities rather than the static things Lenneth/Alicia always have. You can climb walls in VP1 too, just not so much like that. It's actually almost odd that they didn't have you do a more lengthy straight wall climb with the crystal shot, which would have been possible...maybe kinda tough though. I do remember something like that in one of the levels...the hard mode fire dungeon, I believe? There was some trickier movement stuff there...
Anyway yeah, it's a Metroidvania game but also an RPG, in less the sense of Igavania being an RPG and more a "battle system".

Even then, there's a free prototype you can play so you can judge for yourself. I'd say in Mega Man Zero you are a lot "lighter" in that you can do perpetual wall jumps super fast. You can't really do that here so far. Also while it's possible to kill enemies upon hitting them, you have to be strong enough to do that. Otherwise you'll be put in the battle screen. At this stage, I don't see how you can KO bosses and avoid the battle system outright to make it look like a Mega Man game either.
Still hoping for that maniac dungeon/new game plus. Then again, Lab Zero has weird ways of finding money here and there so they might just end up adding it later on anyway. It's very rare for them to underestimate a budget so that they find themselves in debt, but even then they still deliver on their promises somehow.

Nah I agree Saint Germain. In Kampan's case, it's just much less detailed, making it easier to draw/animate over and over lol. rip Same for the other two, and with the vaquero they changed his race as well. The models are all much simpler. heh
