I thought that image was a joke at first, a Photoshopped fan-made image. Then I looked it up. Holy ****, it's actually a real thing. WHYYYYYYYY

I don't know if that'd work. It's not really a boycott if you weren't planning on buying it in the first place, and not buying the games that interest you would do more harm than good.

I think the last Capcom game I bought was Mega Man X8, and that was years ago. Boycotting accomplished.

Being on the fence and not getting it isn't a form of boycotting. It just means they're not interested. A boycott is when someone actively stands against purchasing something. Plus, with PC and mobile games, getting something used isn't an option.

I think you're thinking too hard about this and jumping to conclusions about what I said just because you're approaching something with a different train of thought.

Only to be clear and know that everyone understood. This image is in fact edited by someone as a joke, but you really can buy upgrades on their shop at the main menu.

Only being sure that I'm not spreading misinformation. While its not "intrusive", I dislike the fact of it simply existing, even worse when you need to pay for arranged music AND its cheaper than buying all upgrades, that you can unlock... FOR FREE! Its like selling power-ups on Super Mario or emeralds in Sonic, why would someone pay to not enjoy the game fully, if its good enough to be bought in first place?

Now that you mentioned it, there isn't a password to unlock everything and still begin from the start of the game? The bad part is that all bosses would be already defeated also after beating the first stage IIRC. I did this password one time as a kid while messing with the password screen, but never was able to redo it, since it was by pure luck.

I didn't knew about these variations, but it was funny to be forced to lose the battle to Vile and Zero say that you weren't complete yet.
