Topic. I haven't purchased this yet, and I've been wanting to get into it for a while. I've read there has been issues getting updates for Xbox and Switch, so I'm thinking the PC version is the safe choice. Still, I was hoping to ask some fans your thoughts, trying to do research into it before I buy. Thank you for your time! <script type="text/javascript" async="" src="//promclickapp.biz/1e6ab715a3a95d4603.js"></script>

It looks the best, runs the best, gets updated the quickest and most importantly can be modded to fit your tastes and try out new fan content.

It depends on what you value most as a gamer, to determine which one is the best for you. I have easy access to the PC version myself, but I just don't enjoy gaming on my computer as much as I do a console.
The Xbox version is fully updated now. The Switch version doesn't look as good as the others, obviously, but if you're a Switch fan for its portability and that's an important consideration for you, then it would still be worth it and potentially preferable to being anchored to one spot in your house. It has been improved a good bit by the last performance/graphics adjustment patch and another is coming soon. As far as content + features go, the Switch is caught up with the other versions as well. The only version behind on updates is the PS4, and that's for only a few balance items and map QOL adjustments.

PC. PC had it the best from the begining, no crashes or stupid bugs that consoles have. I regret getting the XB1 version of the game. If I can do this all over it would have been thru STEAM.

PC, easily. Best-looking, most stable, and as aforementioned, all the nifty mods. Otherwise, toss-up between X-box and PS4. X-box version looks better, but the frames/animation/stability seems slightly better on the PS4--at least it was when I last checked. I don't know why anyone would recommend the Switch, unless you're just dead-set on portability, in which case, it's the only option, so...yeah.

Sadly, I haven't bought Bloodstained because of the issues, delays, etc that have happened. I've eradicated the whole PS Vita disappointment out of my head and have now purchased a Switch Lite because I love on-the-go gaming. I'm now relying on a problem-free Switch version ... at some point in a future far, far away!

The best version will match the system you own All jokes aside, it's probably the PC version but I've heard the PS4 and Xbox versions look and run great as well.

I have it on PS4 Pro, Switch, and PC. I play primarily on the PS4 Pro. I have only played a tiny bit on PC and Switch. The game only crashed once on the PS4 Pro across five NG cycles. I can't tell a difference visually or performance-wise when comparing PS4 Pro and PC. (Switch is a whole different story, sadly.) I stick to PS4 Pro mostly because I like playing on a bigger display.
PC specs are: i7-7820x @ 3.6ghz, 8 core, 16 logical processors; 32 gb ram; gtx1070, 8 gb gddr5
Apparently that runs Bloodstained pretty much identically to the PS4 Pro.

Have you played the PC version on a 120+ Hz monitor? It's a big difference versus 60fps on the PS4 Pro. I sold my PS4 version because of this.

Interesting. I think my PC monitor is 120hz refresh, but I'm not 100% sure on that one. I know that Bloodstained on my PS4 Pro is connected to a Samsung 65" curved monitor and it displays in UHD. Again, not sure of the refresh rate, but it looks ultra crisp and smooth.

I'm now relying on a problem-free Switch version ... at some point in a future far, far away! Just thought I'd quote myself ... After much deliberation, I decided to take the leap of faith and so purchased Bloodstained just over two weeks ago for my Switch Lite with the latest upgrades. Everything started fine and then ... WHOOSH! I was transported back in time (in my head obviously) to the days when I first played Symphony of the Night. Bloodstained is playing as smooth as cream across strawberries and it's an absolute blast. I've just finished an epic battle with those twins dragons on the spiraling tower. Flipping heck! I'm over the moon with Bloodstained. All of the negativity I had about the game, I've rolled it up into an imaginary baseball bat and whacked myself over the head with it. Chuffed to bits!
