I think it'd be fun to see to see some goofy/ridiculous theme park mascot or Kigurumi giant bunny outfit. Other thoughts: -I would like to see a feature for moddable outfits on the PC/Mac/Linux version through Steam Workship. That worked out well for Guacamelee and there's tons of fan-made costumes for that game. -I liked Cale's idea for a chameleon dress (clothed parts of body blend in to background). That sounds pretty neat to look at when replaying the game. -I also think it'd be a good idea to make it so that alternate outfits can only be accessed after the player beats the game once in order to avoid breaking immersion on their first playthrough. -I'd rather not see the outfits tie to the character's stats. It's a pretty lame feeling when you unlock an outfit and like how it looks, but don't like how it changes character stats. Or if you like how the character changes their stats, but you don't like the outfit's design. Getting familiar-like costumes done in either a serious or comedic, mascot manner would be fun. As for the other ideas: -A convenience, but the modding community was never bothered by a lack of official support. -Now if only someone could figure out how to deal with the always awkward transparent to non-transparent transition issue. A sleeve ends and a visible hand begins, but what is in the middle!? -New Game plus content right there. -Absolutely agree. hmm what about a young/loli Miriam or just a plain kimono. A smaller character would could cause hitbox problems. Her wearing some elevated geta sandals would solve the issue though. The simplified version of that would be to include red (Nintendo), green (Xbox) and blue (Playstation) exclusive costumes depending on the platform you play. It wouldn't require the licences and would still be kinda cool. Eh, I dunno that \feels very cheap and boring and kinda pointless. I mean PlatinumGames was able to get the rights for Nintendo Inspired costumes for The Wii U port of Bayonetta, and in Bayo2, I figured the same could be done for Bloodstained's Miriam. The game was published by Nintendo, who obviously hold the rights for their own characters. Platinum didn't need to do a thing. |

Could do costumes from other games like maybe Shovel Knight armor or a Shantae costume. I now have this strange desire to see Miriam in genie/belly-dancer attire. Inb4 Shantae colour scheme. XD |

I hope for sone damn cute outfits for Miriam like: Bunny Maid Bride(like Arcueid suggested) Neko-Kyuubi outfit for clan cat o nine tails etc.. And at least a bikini or monokini outfit because she´s damn cute;) All for Pure-Version too^^ Maybe Gebel outfit too because they are the same type of being^^ For the demon hunter( think Leon called him Kensei) Full plate outfit Haunted outfit shrouded in spirits/ghosts leant to naxxramas warri plate in wow a little;) Don´t know the other character but if it´s a witch she should have something like that ecclesia battlewitchdress;) |

That said wedding dress miriam isn't stupid, as said she's cute as heck, so it would really be impossible to make her NOT look great in one. That said, given her colourful skin, and her complicated haircolour.. a plain white wedding dress probably wouldn't suit her as much as one with some kind of hue IMO.

All costumes I want should be separated into these parts if possible, head, upper body, arms, lower body and feet. That way players can mix and match between them if they want to. The costumes I want should all have ears, tail, and paws for hands and feet. My picks are,

I feel Bikini armor and similar types of costumes are risky because they might garner a lot of unneeded ire. It was the same reason I was hesitant to suggest say a Shantae costume even though Inticreates and Wayforward already have a strong working relationship and Shantae is one of the more well known and loved "Metroidvania" type indie IPs. Id prefer a bikini armor instead. Theyre official art from Langrisser on the 3ds but the actual in-game footage look nothing like that though so my interest in the game died fast. Still, I did like the official art so I just saved those. Cool designs eh? Something similar would definitely work in Bloodstained. I see what you mean with the unneeded ire which usually happens in the West as Japan is more open arms about it. I dont know a workaround to the unnecessary ire other than just pushing forward with it. Perhaps releasing it in the form of free dlc could help if its released a bit after the game launches. |
