Dev Update #98: "Zangetsu, Switch and Backer Rewards"

I'm hoping the Zangetsu mode has a bit more thought put into it than previous Igavanias. It's starting to sound like the physical PC versions will come before all the content is finished. That's a pity. That was one part of the previous update that I was happy about. Oh well. Either way, good update. This Switch version was a nightmare all around.

Well, that's a fair way to put it, I think: new assets plus new code to handle them plus new code to reduce input lag.

If successful, Switch owners have a lot to look forward to.

They've also improved their tone and messaging quite a bit, which shows in the tone of the comments (even the negative ones)

Honestly, this was a great update and shows how the team is willing to learn from their mistakes; nonetheless, releasing the switch version before it was optimized is a mistake you can't truly undo without travelling back in time.

So it's the first week of October still no Xbox Update, i really want to buy the DLC and be able to play it offline

Can we get a new ETA since it's past September now?

I think that will be coming out at the same time the Japanese release of Bloodstained or in November. 505 screwed up the switch version BAD.

That's why I think, that achievements are gamebreaker. I whish, they would be optional.

As per Kickstarter Update #87 the backer copies of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night for the Japan and Asia regions have been delayed. Initial estimates indicate a delay of a few months to have the games available for Japan and Asia backers. Everyone on the Bloodstained team regrets and apologizes for this inconvenience. Sending the games out as soon as possible is a top priority for all of us and we’re taking the following steps to address this for our backers in the short term:
All Japan & Asia backers have received a free Steam key for Ritual of the Night. You can access this free Steam key through your backer survey by clicking the Download Codes link.
As soon as digital keys are ready for PS4, NSW and XB1, they will be sent to all Japan & Asia territory digital backers.
Physical game copies will also be sent as soon as they are ready.

Oh my God, is that achievement still broke on Xbox to this day? 

While I can't speak to them replacing your box I can say you won't get your physical pc copy until all the extra content is finished. PC version is meant to be the complete edition basically.
