Feedback and thoughts about the game
Just various thoughts and ideas after having played through the game 3 times on Switch version.
Fixed that I expect will be patched:
* Map remember zoom in/out
* Map auto center
* Map mark button annoying
* Slowdowns in portable mode
* Crashes, especially with interaction with NPC's
Main:
* Sluggish/Imprecise Controls (SotN like, might be switch problem)
* Show effective Drop chance with luck/gear
* Explain stats properly, what they affect, and by what numbers.
* Enable normal and hard from the start (Normal too easy for experienced castlevania players)
* Alternatively make another hard mode after Hard (or rename normal to easy, current hard to normal, and make new hard) Possibly built around players have everything maxed from previous play-through in new game +
* Regarding hard mode, it doesn't scale well, nails hard at start, and gets trivialized later as you level/grind/gear/shards etc.
Minor:
* bats flying underwater
, make them stop, it's not good for their ecco-location.
* Map: mark biome change rooms (color, the rooms between areas)
* Sort craftable items more: Own categories for weapons by type, weapons by 8bit coin. That list crazy long.
* Town save spot, first thing you enter (most switch crashes in town, save in and save out, less crash impact)
* Option: remove passive shard visual effect (Money is Power, Words of Wisdom, Regenerate, Drain?)
* Don't repeat the same lines constantly, like when crafting "I go with this"
* Clear signs for where to get on the train (like a sign or a wait bench)
* Direct Familiars with hand
Silly Wishlist:
* Clothing colors: yellow, orange, white
* Hair: blue
* Option to disable gear looks (Scarfs, masks, etc)
* Possibly make apperance a separate gear menu, independent of stats
* Different armor skins (type?: Plate, Dress, Leather, Kung-fu, Chain)
* Alternative Skin/Look for Dullahammer Head: Pirhanna/Skulls
* Johannes, better animation, the poor guy walks like a 100 year old with ruined knees.
* Change the 8bit shards around so we have 1 each of the 4 first types (not passive) so we can run full 8bit build, for fun.
