Hello. First I'd like to say I love the game. It's awesome. Thanks !
Now to the matter. I just started playing in the Nightmare difficulty level and I noticed the character stays locked at level 1.
I'd like to play through Nightmare starting a normal new game but without leveling up it's too extreme. So I thought there should be a way to experience Nightmare difficulty but with the leveling system turned ON.
Is it possible ?

Just do Hardmode. I don't think there is a difference in terms of enemy stats.
Also consider doing NG+ on Nightmare.

I figured that ! I'm playing on Hard from scratch. Boy the first boss was difficult lol. I tried NG+ on Nightmare but it was way too easy with the best equipment.

I farmed the hell out of Normal got 100% in everything graded and ranked every shard to rank 9 and Hard and Nightmare is broken with these stats would be nice to see a harder mode that puts builds to the test at the moment I am just way to overpowered.
You could make things harder by opting to lower end gear and turn off passives but that takes the fun out of the work in building your character.
I hope the game gets more content I feel like I burned through it way to fast!

One of the playable characters on nightmare might scratch that itch. If one of them plays like Symphony of the Night Richter then skill based gameplay will be the focus. I get the feeling that will be Zangetsu, given he has a similar relationship that Richter did with Alucard.
