It's Sunday today. I've played about one and half hours of BLOODSTAINED: RITUAL OF THE NIGHT. I was defeated a few times, ill-prepared. It's Sunday, today. I took the dog for a walk, a medium sized dog with large sized poop, and I wondered, "Do the bees work on Sunday?"
I heated up the kettle. Put tea leaves in the tea strainer, and added Goji Berries, because, I've been sitting on these Goji Berries for five years, now, "Why not use them? I don't use refined sugar, and it makes the tea a very interesting colour." I wrestled for the dog's attention, got this... therapy animal... to sit with me on my couch, wrangled her on to my lap... checked the Youtube Subscriptions... checking to see if there are any new videos I can pretend are genuine human relationships... ahhh, just commercials for WARCRAFT III-derivative MOBA's. Those are interesting... for some people. I dislike the rabid competition of these young sociopaths. So, with my tea steeping, this therapy dog on my lap, I plugged in the controller to my laptop, and booted up BLOODSTAINED: RITUAL OF THE NIGHT.
huh. An error message. Strange... I click the shortcut on my desktop, again. The game-program loads up correctly this time. Or, so I think. When the audio begins to run through, not the television I have connected through an HDMI cable, but the laptop speakers... le sigh. Another of these Steam games that is configured incorrectly. Oh well. I play the game for a few turns. Alright. I'm no longer able to enjoy the details I once admired, such as these portraits in the background as you enter the castle, because, I am... distracted... peeved... by my own Circumstances, nothing to do with the developers of this game, or the Kickstarter backers, or, like, whoever else you want to j'accuse me of having overlooked. I'm not in a good space. I play the BLOODSTAINED: RITUAL OF THE NIGHT game, admiring the cultivation of design, the intriguing use of 3-dimensional models. It's really v cool that people who have been making games for such a long time have integrated the fullness of their memories and lives into a modern game that calls back to the antiques of the 1980's and 1990's. Good yob. Then, I fall through a gap in the floor, slip down the staircase... alright. That's it for me. I go to a sanctuary room, save my progress, and boot out of the game-program.
Then, I turn over to the Youtube subscriptions. I really need a resolution to these Circumstances, which I am not receiving, so, I turn my brain off, and focus my attention on an empty wave-length, watching teevee. ...but... when I boot up a Youtube video... the audio... starts playing... through... my laptop speakers...
It would appear... as though... the latest patch... has changed my audio drivers... or... the digital wiring... the programming language... it would appear as though the latest patch to BLOODSTAINED: RITUAL OF THE NIGHT causes an error in Windows 10, such that when you run yr laptop A/V through an HDMI cable to a teevee, the audio is no longer correctly pathed. The latest patch for RITUAL OF THE NIGHT causes audio run through an eckshternal HDMI cable to run through the computer, instead of the television set.
This is... way... h-e-double-hockey-sticks of annoying, dude. I've been listening to NEO NEOS albums, and all of their audio... not right for laptop speakers.
This is a very... FRUSTRATING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... bug... which, I would attribute to the latest patch of BLOODSTAINED: RITUAL OF THE NIGHT. would REALLY, REALLY, REALLY!!!!!!!!!!!! appreciate a bug ficksh for this error!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very frustrating!

I've submitted a bug report and can only hope someone else has experienced this and gotten around it... I'm playing on Xbox One X ***minor spoilers ahead*** Impossible to use Craftwork to move iron maidens in the later-game section of Entrance The intention of this area is to use Craftwork to "move" the iron maiden trap object out of the way, while wearing "Aegis Plate" to be immune to the spike damage. The first iron maiden can be moved without issues, but the second just glitches and cannot be moved. I cannot pass this area and cannot continue through this area of the map. streamable.com/a6qo0Anyone else see this, on any release?? It's really, really upsetting to think my save may be DOA... On my first play through I encountered this but realized I had enough room to slide underneath. The second play through worked right though. |

Already reported this to the official site, and replied to the fangamer emails for help too. According to fan gamer the backer id is without the hashtag, just six characters. Mine happens to start with a zero, not sure is that is part of the problem. I'm on Xbox using the download copy, I have the physical copy too as I ordered both, don't know if THAT has to do with it either but I've tried everything. Tried making the code start with the letter O instead, tried starting a new game to put the code in before starting. Tried with and without the #, both ways with and without capitals. I am a backer... so why isn't it working?  Also, kind of disappointed since I never saw my name in the credits which was supposed to be a thing. (got the good ending too.) I've waited for this game a long time and got only the game to show for it as though I didn't back it... super frustrating that I don't have any of the exclusive stuff. Also, the valkyrie gear is not in my game and I don't know why, I've went to the places it is supposed to be so unless it's in new game plus idk what the problem is there either, just no spawn at all... If anybody has something I can try please let me know. |

I've boought the game on Steam. Currently I use a Nvidia Geforce gtx 970m.
The game crash on start, actually it never opens, but appears a window in wich I read LowLevelFatalError
Can anyone help?
If I disable the nvdia, and I use the other one (an integrated Intel), then the game starts, but is very slow.
Help, tx

There is a problem with the FAMILIAR Dantallion. When activating this FAMILIAR the game sometimes pauses. Is like a hicup that comes and goes. The BOLIDE BLAST does not seem to do anything but waste MP, it supposed to blow up where ever the hand is pointing but it does nothing.

Hello fellow bug hunters i received my switch version of bloodstained. I encountered a text bug where in dialogue miriam spoke a line and the word put was nowhere to be found there was just a gap where the word was supposed to be. it was in the first dialogue sequence with johannes on the galleon

There's a bug that prevents the fight with the DLC boss IGA to trigger. I have beaten every boss and all secret bosses, yet when I go to face IGA he just refuses to come out of hiding.
I think it has to do with accepting the quest to fight him before defeating Gebel, glitching the whole encounter.

I accepted the quest from the moment they became available and still was able to fight him, after fighting Gebel. It has to be a bug.

Is Blood Steal broken? Pretty sure it's broken, cause it doesn't do what its description says it does. The only use I found for it was opening that one path.
A shame, cause it would be a fantastic ability if it did as advertised.

Oh, that's how it's used. They should probably change the shard description from "Absorb blood from nearby enemies" to "Absorb the spilled blood of nearby enemies" or something similar. The description makes it seem like a blood version of Alucard's "Soul Steal", especially since it's called "Blood Steal". While the former hits enemies and absorbs health, the latter doesn't hit enemies at all, so it's quite different. |

Im curious if any of my fellow xbox one players have experienced isssues with items/chests not appearing at all. Both myself and my friend can't get the bloodbringer weapon even though we have the familiar. Also the chest for hair style number 12 didn't spawn at all. The point for me is to collect everything and I can't which has left me waiting for a patch/update to fix this issue.
