The Update Thread

They said that the web and the slacker backer will be ready by the end of this month, so I hope we will get an update next week

Aye, I wasn't expecting an update until mid-august.

I'm kinda hoping we'll see more 'stuff' in the next one or after though. I mean the amount of work done to have that proof of concept done complete with some celarly cosmetic effects like the eyeball popping out of the dying monster to be done before the KS was even finished... I'm dying to know how much stuff they have done now. Not because I'm impatient for a release or anything, but just seeing that little bit of miriam walking around slashing at those floating eyes was really quite entertaining to watch.

Game development takes time so it is going to be a while before it is done, as for the updates it has pretty much been confirmed we will be getting one update per month.

As for the slacker backers I think the paypal balance will make up for them.

Yes, Ben said that there will be an update per month, but he also said that the official web and the slacker backer will be ready by the end of this month, so Im expecting an update with that.

Would be awesome if the next update would be like "we decided to add all the familiars into the game, and this is how they work"

Thanks. I'm looking forward to the new website that this forum will be part of. It's official that we are the official forums though. I really hope the survey goes out today. The last update makes it clear it would be by the end of the month. Today is the end of the month! I don't expect an actual update until some time next month, but I certainly expect that survey. They told us we would get monthly updates, not that they would be the same time every month.

I really hope that survey goes out today. If it doesn't I'm afraid it's going to disappoint many backers and perhaps change the tone of faith in those responsible. Not me though, I honestly don't know what platform choices I'm going to make and I have no idea why people are so rushed to tell Team Iga their choices.

Even though I would like it if they were by their word on getting the surveys today, I'm totally fine with waiting (Just not too long... :x)

I'm fine either way. Thing is, it's not that unlikely I might even change my mind between now and 2017 for what platform I want the game on. I imagine I won't be alone in that, whether other backers realize it yet or not lol. Everyone's just hungry for any kind of development.

It has to go better than Unsung Story. That game averages about 3 updates every 6 months. We're in its initially planned release month now, and the most we've seen are little screen shots from February.
