Actually if he looked/acted like his Castlevania variation, Konami would be in it's legal right to cause trouble, as their version of the character they do own.

But Gebel is totally not Alucard at all!

Well, Gebel is alt costume of the Mysterious Man who is too overrated just like Miriam (or Castlevania's Mathias Cronqvist/Dracula/Vlad Tepes).... Just like Miriam who would have alt costume of Pure Miriam... Mysterious Man must actually be Gebel himself... It is strongly implied and believed that the Mysterious Man is related to Gebel himself, his alter ego himself.

Before he got infected with crystal that would give him white hair and red eyes, he had black hair and blue clothes as the Mysterious Man, the alter ego of Gebel, who is related to him as it implies and believes, but no not the man with blonde hair, red shirt and glasses.

Based on the fact that we were told 'NOBODY will EVER guess who it is". I'm thinking it must be someone that we have no knowledge of being in this game yet. If it's someone we do have knowledge of at all, I would say Alucard, though I don't know if that's even possible legally. Iga said Konami was good to him IIRC, despite their currenly poor reputation, maybe he asked nicely and they let him have a bone?

Alucard is a public domain character that first appeared in the Universal movie Son of Dracula back in the 40's I believe and was played by Lon Chaney Jr. As long as IGA made his Alucard distinct and clearly not any other interpretation of the character he would be more than within his rights to use the character, however I personally hope he won't and don't think Alucard will appear in the game for the same reason that I don't think Dracula will appear, that's Castlevania's thing not Bloodstained. I know ALOT of fans have been wanting both Dracula and Alucard and Death to appear in some manner or another but I don't think it would happen, of those 3 I think that a reimagining of Death is the only one we could have a real chance at ever seeing in a future Bloodstained game but not this one.

testboy8  That would be awesome, i do like that idea. It would be hard though as the crystal shards are pretty hard to hide. He'd have to wear a mask and other concealing clothing.
