Share songs or bands you associate with Bloodstained!

Galamoth I listened to that song like, months ago. Probably September? I never realized that it sounded so similar to Luxurious Overture. During that time, I spent most of my musical attention to Djent bands. I discovered that song because Ghost covered it.

I'm glad you reminded me of that song though. You know that feeling of "I really want to hear that song again but I forgot the lyrics or even the band" and then one day, you discover it again in the most unexpected way possible? That's what I feel.

Damn, how could I forget about Malmsteen? My dad used to have a giant collection of his albums and a couple others of the same genre. I pretty much just grew up from his music (and taste in video games). It's pretty unfortunate that a great flood ruined our furniture and as well as our cabinet full of old casette tapes and CD albums. We had bands like Demon Hunter, Gamma Ray, Stryper, Helloween, Avantasia, Edguy, Yngwie Malmsteen, Symphony X, Blind Guardian, Racer X aaaaand you get the point.

Michiru Yamane is the Malmsteen of video game music, and vice versa.

Time 4 Tea , ovenkitty and Nezuto I am really glad that there are blokes here who like the same music as me. In a sense, I associate Power, Symphonic, Melodic and Classical metal with Castlevania/Bloodstained.

On the off-chance that you folks haven't heard of Jorn Lande's work, behold.


Jorn Lande usually makes Hard Rock, with occasional covers of Dio and a couple other classic bands. But this particular album is my favorite simply because, well, it's about Dracula. If any of you like Dio, then you're gonna love Lande's work. He's also the vocalist behind League of Legends' Pentakill band and a part of the Avantasia by Tobias Sammet.

Nezuto Yep, Stratovarius gives me a Lament of Innocence and Curse of Darkness vibe. Leon's Theme is my personal favorite. The PS2 games had really damn good soundtracks, it was Yamane's peak performance. I hope RotN gets an OST that is just as, if not a better one.

I forgot all about Stratovarius! Now I'm searching youtube for one of their songs I can't remember the name or lyrics of.

This song's about Castlevania by-proxy (Stoker's Dracula, which is somehow canon). And Iced Earth's kinda Vania anyway:

End of all Hope is another good one, as is their version of Phantom of the Opera.

Meh. Bloodstained music reminds me of Castlevania music, the later days.

There is nothing like it in the kind of music I listen to regular.
