One of my favourites is 'kids on the hill' pretty sure thats what its called, its not very actiony but has awesome jazz music, 'kotonoha no niwa' is a mature love story, quite deep, well drawn. For action, highschool dxd is pretty funny albiet it is nsfw, i cant remember any othera off the top of my head though, sorry
Oh also 'Spice and Wolf' its a pretty sweet anime, bummed it ended

I really like your list but I personally don't think Kara no Kyoukai movies deserve score of 10.

These two I'm recommending purely on personal interest, they're a couple of my favorites: Battle Programmer Shirase The main character Shirase is known by few as the elite legendary hacker BPS, though is family just knows him as a useless otaku who isn't really socially acceptable, and only knows any sort of familial love from his niece. As a dangerous hacker known as King of America starts to throw the business industry in chaos, BPS is called to defend them against his attacks. It's comedic, ecchi, and in no way realistic, but it's something I really enjoyed. Kamisama Kazoku Samatorou is a high school student, and the son of God. His mother and sisters are all goddesses, and he's essentially a God himself, however he has a crush on a human girl. He wants to find true love, but his father always interferes by trying to give him anything he wants. This is also a comedy, and ecchi, and is also something I really love. These next ones I really think are more of a thing anyone can enjoy. Katanagatari Shikizaki Kiki was known to have created 1000 high quality swords, but those were all considered practice for his final 13 swords. The first 12 of these are known as unstoppable swords that could overthrow an army, and the final one is a mystery. The swordsmith came unto the realization that all of his swords were still imperfect. His swords were mighty, but could not determine what should or shouldn't be destroyed, and so he secluded himself on an island for 20 years, attempting to create his final masterpiece. Insert Togame, in a search to collect all of his swords. She's reached the island and has found the final sword, a boy named Yasuri Schichika, and issues him a command "Fall in love with me". There's a lot of action and some subtle comedy. The art style is unique and this is definitely a must watch. Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei It's been a century since mankind started to wage war with a kind of technology known as magic. Much of the world was devastated at the time, but many have forgotten the calamity, and now there are grade schools just to raise those with affinities for the technology. Shiba Tatsuya and his sister enter their first year of high school in one of the most prestigious magic high schools. They're immediately subjected to a proficiency test, which his sister passes remarkably, while he fails. In this school, people who fail are welcome into the school but are labeled a "weed", however this Weed is a little more than meets the eye, and his sister has all the confidence in the world in his abilities. This one is filled with action, and is about how the world would be if centered around this technology magic.

I see 800 things listed there, with 98% having a score of 7 or higher. I'm guessing your scores are something akin to a school grading system, with the rating numbers translating to percentages? This is why I hate ratings, everyone has their own interpretation of the scale.

This is why I hate ratings, everyone has their own interpretation of the scale. Yeah, it's a rating based on enjoyment, not how good an anime actually is as a whole. So everyone's ratings will be very different. I personally stick to 7-10, that's just me. 6 and below would mean I hated watching it, and didn't give a crap about the character's struggles. 7 is slightly better, and 8-10 means I either cared for the characters, or liked the plot a lot, or both. Chances are if I gave it an 8, others will enjoy it too. 9, or 10 would be a must-watch. I think.

Couple those personal takes on the rating scale with internal consistency issues that every individual one has and you quickly reach the conclusion that compiled ratings are one of the dumbest ideas ever.
Eh, I digress. Well, just wanted to get a sense of how your scale worked.

MyAnimeList takes everyone's ratings and averages it out which is kind of accurate imo. Like if the average rating is 7, and below, there's a higher chance of me not enjoying it as much.

"7/10, it's shit" "8/10, it's one of the best shows I've ever watched" "1/10, mein charcter sux"
I don't think it evens out.

Take them with a grain of salt. They're not rating the animation quality or whatever, they're rating how much they enjoyed the show they watched.

I don't have much of a problem with them, it's just that compiling them and making an average score is idiotic.
Also, we're getting pretty off-topic here so we should call it quits. ...Wait a sec, you should be the one saying that! Start yelling and oppressing like a mod should already!
