I like the idea of the many options for the rougelike and the generate castle button, but I guess they will make it all random, anyway Im fine with whatever they decide

A level editor, while neat, is a steep investment that is very unlikely to happen.
Being able to adjust castle generation modifiers to the extend you're suggesting would ruin the balance, as it would make drops and levels considerably easier to gain. It would also discourage castle sharing, as modifiers would eliminate the need for seeking out exceptionally good castles from others.
Knowing the layout of the castle before entering would completely ruin the intended rougelike feel.

Sorry, this game design suggestion board will be monitored a bit more strictly than the rest of the forum. Ideas regarding this subject already have a thread Here which has already been compiled and submitted for review. Further discussion is encouraged. I will merge this thread into the other one when I get home unless another moderator can do it before then. That's not possible for me on the phone. As the subject says: a level editor. Even a simple one where we select rooms and connect them as best as we can, in some sort of 2D map designer. A more complex one would allow customization or creation of a room using game assets (as many as possible!), save that room, and then be able to use it in your own custom castle. This is not an easy thing I guess, but I think it would bring a lot of life to the game. People would make their own customized castles and share them with the community. I think the payoff would be amazing, but if there is no budget for this, then the roguelike mode should at least have a ton of options? - castle size
- amount of bosses (subsection with allowed/disallowed bosses)
- amount of enemies (subsection with allowed/disallowed enemies)
- allowed rooms to be used in the castle generation
- allowed drops/weapons
- leveling speed/xp boost (0.5x, 1x, 1.5x etc)
And the option for the "generate castle" button to show you at least the layout of the castle before you embark on your mission. The more options the better! Sorry dude but i don´t want a Level-Editor.. I wish for the roguelike dungeons that were announced, extreme hard dungeons with better loot hopefully for new game+ only! With even challenging mobs for high end chars and a boss at the end resembling a boss in the main game but with a billion HP and the power of onehitting^^

They had a level editor (of sorts) for Dawn of Sorrow, though I think they only let you change enemy choice and placement.
