I hope we hear a date soon. I wouldn't be too shocked if it's coming out before March.
The only way this is a late 2019 game is if the game is having major development snags, and I would hope not...

Of course when they said 2019 I didn't they would literally take another year but since they announced "somewhere in 2019" in the last update I don't think it would be in February let's say. Perhaps late March for the earliest I could believe. Maybe they'll start feeling the pressure of the rumored Castlevania Collection that could be on the way.

I'm sorry, but messages like these can't simply be forgotten. 2018 has been the release window. It doesn't matter if a formal or informal one, at this point. THIS is what people read, and THIS is why IF the game is delayed to 2019 the delay MUST be recognized as such. And saying that it's people fault because they "interpreted it wrongly" is simply not true and mustn't happen, because it would be an act of great disrespect at this point. 2019 is the new release window. Second time I have read "Definitely" by a certain time. I am still erring on the side of caution; the game will be out when it's out. Trying to guess a time frame is ludicrous. |

Yuri Zahard oh nice find with the video. I've got some great memories of those two titles on the PSP as the Dracula X Chronicles. So many nights ending in a rage quit with many others ending in excitement. Foffy I can't put my finger on why, but that sounds right. I trust that many on the development team are capable of developing this game, and they all have each other as a resource for trouble shooting. A bug free game these days seems hard to come by, but the major bugs appear likely to be fixed before release. Oh not to mention the game with all shaders enabled will be absolutely beautiful.

I suspect 3 months from the day they say its going to be released. But in the past they have stated things just days or weeks beforehand so its anyones guess.
We was to have 3 months head notice to change our backer-tiers, upgrades and what not, but we wasn't given that. We got 1 month, if I remember?

So.. If they announce it in March, we might get it in March. But I think they will aim for a September release. 2019 is the year however, no change in that.

Yeah that won't happen, Bloodstained will have (and need) a strong publishing/marketing effort to get people to buy it so the game can be profitable. You can't really do enough of that in a matter of weeks. ~3 months is more about right.

Right now, if it launches as a complete game with all the features (i.e. not a Shovel Knight-type release), then I think somewhere between October and December 2019. The absolute earliest I would expect it is sometime in the summer of 2019. I could see Enkeria 's September date being a possibility, but that's right on the border. With there being game-breaking bugs and fundamental things like additional assets and enemy placement across multiple modes being done, I can't see Q1 2019, really. I'm not 100% convinced 2019 will be the year, honestly, but if it goes to 2020, then it'll be early 2020. |
