Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night's 2018 Backer demo is packed with stuff. Weapons, itens, shards, enemies, breakable walls and scenarios. But among these, there are somethings that are quite hidden. Not secrets, but interesting stuff that maybe some people missed. Here are some details on the demo that maybe you didn't noticed or wasn't able to:
1) Miriam starts her adventure inside the passenger's cabin. The first room of the game has three beds and tables. One for Miriam, one for Johannes and one, most probably, for the guy that is killed by a Morte right at the beginning, that was probably a workhand.
2) "Morte" like enemies are mostly covering castlevania classic monsters. Morte for Zombie, Morte Bone for Skeleton and Morte Cannon for Bone Pillar.
3) You can see Zangetsu inside a wooden boat, fightning against the waves, sailing towards the castle in the background of Galleon Minerva.
4) Miriam is ambidextrous. Facing left or right, she changes the hand of the weapon she uses and she can also use Directional and Trigger shards with any hand. The game is 3d, they could have simply used the same animation for both sides rather than changing her hands (that would be easier on 3D, while in 2D you need to create additional sprites). Making her using weapons and magics with both hand seems to be a deliberate decision.
You can see that Dullahammer is also ambidextrous (he changes his weapon from hand to hand when turning around) while Sabnock, for instance, that uses a sword, isn't, always attacking with the same hand.
5) Hold UP and Miriam will do a "Jojo" like pose. Keep holding it and she will do a second pose.
6) Johanne's room has a blackboard. Miriam's rose is draw on it, along with symbols and a circle surrounding it.
7) Dominique's room has some portraits. One of them has a red demon that really looks like (spoiler from Curse of the Moon)
8) Most Lindsay's quests are references to Castlevania. Rosary is Rosaly, Hector's wife from Curse of Darkness. Annete is Richter's Belmont's Wife, while Lisa is Dracula's second wife and Alucard's mother.
9) Oddly, you can see Gebel's castle in the background of the village and then you can enter it by just going fowards and doing a small turn. That shouldn't make any sense, unless it's an error, the castle you enter isn't actually Gebel's castle yet OR the whole place (village included) has some kind of chaotic nature.
10) Absolutely all female statues inside the castle's entrance looks like Miriam.
11) At the castle's entrance, there are some red flags in the background with a certain symbol. The same symbol is drawn at Johanne's blackboard.
12) The cat from the Backer's portraits at the entrance is blind from it's left eye.
13) There is a statue of what looks like a Mermaid, at Garden of Silence. It's on the background of the biggest room with toads and Plume parmas.
14) The moon's position inside the castle makes no sense. It shows up at several areas and it looks different at some rooms. It is probably a reference to the castle's demonic and chaotic nature and/or to Gremory, that is tied to the moon.
15) One of the biggest's hints on Symphony of the Night, that the game would have a inverted castle, is the fact that the whole castle is "closed" by walls, without open areas or free skies. The same is true to Bloodstained's castle. The galleon and the village have completely open areas, but it seems that the whole castle of the demo is closed. Every single room that is capable to be reached, has a celling.
The only exception to this is an area inside Garden of Silence that cannot be reached by normal means (see it HERE) and it is most probably unfinished / cut.
16) If you take a healing item and they are already capped in your inventory, such item will be automatically used and it will heal you.
that's all folks!

Zangetsu's demon form if he kills you with his sickle by the end of the fight.
