I don't know why it ate my last post, but i'm reposting. The forum has an anti-spam protection feature where guest posts have to be approved manually by mods. Sorry about that, both of your posts are up now. I could edit them together if you like, or consolidate to one or the other etc. Do you plan on opening an official forum? This is the official forum. "Fan" is in the URL because originally it was a fan forum, but as can be seen on the banners (top) as well as in updates, it became official thanks to volunteer efforts (similar in spirit to the indie nature of the game). The Discord is the same. Eventually it may be incorporated into a Bloodstained main website.

Some of us in another thread were wondering if there will be any lewd/provocative cosmetic clothings within the game. We personally think its unfitting for the art and character, as well as uneeded as much higher res pictures and 3dgci models can be created by artists as they wish. Also it seems tasteless and stepping on the artstyle, for it adds nothing to the game, and removes the focus of appreciation of the art design to primal, instinctual emotion. All it will do is provide boring eye candy (the female anatomy isnt something we haven't seen before), eye candy that one can get anywhere else. And for a patrician/noble game as this, why should we submit outselves to simplistic carnal desires? Surely one doesnt need to resort to the thought of seeing a cgi woman naked to sell a game of this calibre? Seriously? I understand you have your opinions on fanservicey content but why would you want to ruin it for everyone else? People voted for the succubus content because they wanted it. You aren't forced to use the costume. Campaigning to get content removed so no one can have it is really rude and feels very judgemental. Well, remember, everyone has a right to their own opinion, and in a thread like this they're allowed to express it so long as they do so respectfully. I don't agree with just me's thoughts, but if they're just asking a question I don't think they're trying to take things away from other folks.
That said, I really do agree with you. Since these are just optional costumes, if anyone doesn't like them, they simply don't have to use them. And while IGA's games have always been pretty high-class (so to speak), they've always had fanservice and silly stuff, too. Dawn of Sorrow had sexy succubi, there were goofy little secrets like Charlotte getting vacuumed up by the demon maids in Portrait of Ruin, and so on. I don't think a few costumes should dent the atmosphere of Ritual of the Night

During the development process have you felt inspired to experiment with original and never before seen game features that you knew you would not have the resources to add to the game for its initial release?
Followup: If RotN is successful, would you rather implement these features in RotN in a future DLC or would you rather wait to fold them into Bloodstained 2?

Here's an odd question I've been wanting to make for a while now: Would you be willing to implement a feature wherein gaining experience points from enemies may be turned off ? Like, you equip a shard or go to the config menu and suddenly you're not getting experience points from enemies anymore, until you unequip the shard or turn the feature off. I just want to second this once again. It is almost the only thing I care about. I was forever thankful when FFXV added exactly this as free DLC. I pray that bloodstained will keep this miracle going!

This question is from Goobsausage who couldn't quite make it here on time for the cutoff himself: Goobsausage asks: Curse of the Moon was originally intended to be a prequel, but this is not the case in the final version of the game. What prompted this change and how far in development was this decision made? One from me, also related to CotM: Who is that in the first painting, on the galleon level (stage 5)? It's not Mana, is it?
