Some of us in another thread were wondering if there will be any lewd/provocative cosmetic clothings within the game. We personally think its unfitting for the art and character, as well as uneeded as much higher res pictures and 3dgci models can be created by artists as they wish. Also it seems tasteless and stepping on the artstyle, for it adds nothing to the game, and removes the focus of appreciation of the art design to primal, instinctual emotion. All it will do is provide boring eye candy (the female anatomy isnt something we haven't seen before), eye candy that one can get anywhere else. And for a patrician/noble game as this, why should we submit outselves to simplistic carnal desires? Surely one doesnt need to resort to the thought of seeing a cgi woman naked to sell a game of this calibre?

Bloodstained appears to lean in a more anime-styled "gothic lolita" or "cosplay" direction with its character design - in a future game, would you be interested in going back to the more historically-anchored aristocratic character style seen in Symphony of the Night and Harmony of Dissonance?

I really like challenging games!
Some challenging modern games have monsters with more intelligent AI - will RotN follow this trend? Or will difficulty mostly be achieved through traditional platformer methods - monster placement and intimidating moves?

Here's an odd question I've been wanting to make for a while now: Would you be willing to implement a feature wherein gaining experience points from enemies may be turned off ? Like, you equip a shard or go to the config menu and suddenly you're not getting experience points from enemies anymore, until you unequip the shard or turn the feature off. Here's my reasoning: it's fun to level as little as possible when playing the game to get a real challenge; it's also fun to kill countless enemies until that rare shard you're looking for drops. The problem is you can't do both at the same time: by killing enemies to obtain rare shards you run the risk of over-leveling, taking a lot of the challenge out of the game. So it's a feature that I feel is easy to implement and would add a lot to the enjoyment of the game. Now that I think about it, it could also be done as a shard that slightly increases the drop rate while eliminating experience points. Oh, and just in case you guys ask the question: here it is in Japanese, to make Mana 's life easier (since I know how difficult translating accurately on the spot can be, especially when the question needs an explanation). 経験値の取得を オフに出来る機能のご検討を、お願いできますでしょうか? 例えば、 特定のシャードを装備すると、敵を倒しても経験値が出ないとか、ゲームコンフィグの設定で単に経験値の取得をオフにする項目を入れるなど、そういった仕様のことです。 理由を説明しますと、なるべくレベル上げしないでクリアを目指すのは大変面白く、レア・シャードを狙って次々と敵を倒していくのもまた面白いんですが、今までのIGAVANIAの仕様では両方やるのは不可能です。というのは、レア・シャードを求めて多くの敵を倒してしまうと、その分経験値を稼いでしまい、オーバーパワーなレベルまで成長してしまうからです。 恐らく簡単な実装の割に、ゲームを楽しめる幅が大きく広がるのではないかと思います。 考えて見れば、 シャードのドロップ率を少しだけ上げてくれる代わりに、経験値が出なくなるシャードで実装するのも面白い気がしてきました。

Can we expect to see Curse of the Moon on Mac and Linux anytime in the near future, or at least in a Wine wrapper so we don't have to launch the game through Wine Steam?
Also, I'd like to see this in the game: Would you be willing to implement a feature wherein gaining experience points from enemies may be turned off?
Overleveling is my bane, and any system that allows me to cap my level to what's appropriate for that point in the game or otherwise lets enemies scale would be appreciated, perhaps as a difficulty option.

I have a few questions of my own. (If that is okay) 1: The multiplayer section, will we have it as the style like Castlevania: Harmony of Despair without the timer?(Good game just hated the timer XD) 2: If you have the chance, would you like to adapt Bloodstained into an anime like Castlevania has done? 3: This one isn't really a question as it is a thank you for all the work you have done over the countless years and being the ones who got me into the Metroidvania genre of games.

Hello. I was wondering about the extra modes to come with Bloodstained. In previous games you have made, while the extra modes have been fun, I think it's fair to say that their scope was limited. I was wondering if the modes that were funded would be more substantial pieces of content with as much thought put into them as the main game, or if they will be like in the past and serve as more of side content to the main game dist as it were. Or maybe some are bigger then others? If so, which are smaller and which are bigger?

For future Bloodstained titles, do you intend to innovate in ways similar to the GBA/DS titles where the core mechanics such as movement, magic, and the partner system are changed substantially or are you more interested in changing the genre of the game? 2. Are you interested in the concept of collaborating with external developers to make an action game in the Bloodstained universe a la Platinum Games or a fighting game a la Lab Zero? If it helps, I will literally buy anything Bloodstained!

I don't know why it ate my last post, but i'm reposting.
1. Do you see yourself working with external studios in the future to help Bloodstained expand into other genres while maintaining a high quality? E.g. - Platinum for an Action Game, Lab Zero for a Fighting Game. 2. When it comes to making a sequel to Bloodstained, do you see yourself doubling down on how Ritual of the Night functions to polish more and expand normally or will we see innovation like the Portable IgaVanias where the core mechanics (movement, magic, partner system) is changed drastically with each entry?

Will there be a New Game+ mode available? NG+ has ben confirmed, although it seems to have scaling difficulty (enemies getting stronger each time, kind of in the vein of Dark Souls). Question will there be a non-scaling version of New Game +, something more in line with the old Igavania games?
