Hey, everyone! IGA and Mana Ikeda will be at E3 this coming week showing off the game to press (June 12-14). I'm booking time for them to answer some fun questions from the community. We will do a short 30 min livestream on (twitter.com/swordorwhip), day and time TBD. We will try to cover as many questions as we can given the time needed to translate. You should all know IGA. Mana is the Communications Manager for Artplay in addition to being a stunningly talented artist who makes stuff like this. So...what would you like to ask? |

Will Bloodstained have a Level 1 Hard Mode like Portrait of Ruin and Order of Ecclesia? The boss encounters and level designs came alive beautifully under those high difficulty conditions!

1. What type of area in the Igavania games is usually the most fun to design and work on?
2. Can we have a Castle Editor in Bloodstained RotN? Pretty please! It would add so many extra hours of fun to the game!
3. How does it feel now that this huge project is finally approaching its end? Hopefully you guys get some well earned rest soon!

- Will the difficulty settings be available from start?
- Will all familiar have a special feature, making them different from each other?
- Will some special breakable walls regenerate?
- Will saveroom have more features than just save? (Example: Teleport, change outfits, cook, etc)
- Will other playable characters cook?
- Will other playable characters find new items, gear, abilities?
- Will there be outfits / costumes for bosses, perhaps in a future DLC?
- Will there be an area, in or outside of the game, where we can relax and listen to all the music?
- Will speedrun / timer mode have more features than just a clock (timer)?

All I want to know question wise. Is if Iga plans to make a scifi based dark gothic game with vampires. I feel that would be amazing. Kinda like Vampire Hunter D in a sense were they have a sci fi aspect that isn't to heavy but is there because Science has advanced.

Seeing how Miriam's physical appearance can change based on what equipment she uses and unlockable costumes, can we expect a "Joseph's Cloak" item that allows us to change her colors in specific areas or just overall?

Thanks so much to IGA and Mana-Mana for showing up at E3. My question is a little weighty, but I think it might allay some fears if it's answered: How do IGA and Artplay plan to work with 505 to ensure that backers receive the game in a timely fashion, so that the problems we encountered with Curse of the Moon can be avoided?
