My money -if this is INDEED happening, mind you- is on NES titles, Super CV 4, Bloodlines, Rondo, maybe the MSX port (BIG maybe), Chronicles, SotN and the GB Advance titles (since they've been ported to the Wii U anyway)... and possible Adventure since its stuck in a console no one can buy it from no more. Maybe add the GB titles as unlockables... and/or the PSP Rondo Remake, since its long out of print and I doubt people are buying the digital copy for the PSPs or Vitas. Mind you, if this -or something similar- happens, I can't stress enough how fast I would end up buying this thing. All CVs on the go for the Switch? Count me in from day 1. |

I am actually okay with this. Konami is meeeh, so unless it is one of the old game series updated (HD) for the new systems I would prefer to stick to the actual guy who knows the formula inside and out.

In all honesty, the only console I have is a DS, so I can play all the DS and GBA games already (which includes the GBA port of CV 1), all that is missing are the original GB ones and the console, arcade and old PC games.
So I wouldn't really be rushing to buy a compilation of only those, unless it's really good with the emulation and has good extra content or at least is not too expensive.
But personally, I would like if they did something similar to the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection, where every main game is available, along with extra content like a gallery with concept art, and other nice touches here and there.
I personally think that's dreaming too much, and they would probably just release a small collection.
If this turns out to be real anyway.

On Gematsu about 2 months ago, it said that Konami was making another Castlevania. However, it turned out to be just as expected:
-It is a mobile game
-It has in-game currency
-It has microtransactions
It is called Grimorie of Souls. It's still in beta though and a release date hasn't been announced. Not like anyone here is upset to hear that. I think that's probably going to be the only Castlevania related news for a while, especially since E3 just ended.
