You guys that like a good metroidvania with Dark Souls flavour need to take a look at Unworthy. The game was released on steam some days ago.
To begin with, this game is great, but at this rate it may end up being one of the greatest games you've never heard of and never played.
Underneath the retro pixel seeming simple graphics lies a game of incredible depth and detail.
Like Dark Souls and other Souls-likes, it's a hardcore action rpg that focuses on tight combat.
This game has a spectacular soundtrack, well worth the price tag and it isn't just the bosses, but every area of the game has a unique soundtrack that goes well with the overall atmosphere.
Unworthy is a game that sets forth a challenge to the player, and expects you to rise to meet it, not through clever manipulation of the mechanics, but through sheer skill and perseverence. This game will take you to your very limits and force you to hone your skills to the utmost. You'll experience setbacks, frustration, and defeat, over and over again. It will be up to you to overcome the challenges ahead and reach the end.
And last but not least important, it was made by one person!!!!!
