Songs that give you the feels

Most people like to associate David Bowie's "Life on Mars" with melancholy and sadness, but I like associating it with a sketch a local comedy troupe did where they sang their own parody of it. Here's video of the sketch. The song itself begins at 3:05.

So whenever I hear the song, I think of people in their 30's and 40's dressing like David Bowie, throwing dolls around to each other, dissing the local newspaper that sponsored them, and just funny feelings.

I really love this song but the name it's self is a huge spoiler. All I will say is it's the final boss theme for Xenoblade Chronicles and the name of the song is also the name of the final boss.

I'm sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing this, it sounds like it's very special to you.

Also this thread has a serious lack of Ys, so heres some

Faxanadu, a real gem from the NES that most people seems to ignore. I've discovered it while playing a unnoficial NES collection for PSX (aka CD full of roms) and have played it a lot of times but never beaten it. It reminded me of Castlevania 2 and I consider Faxanadu to be one of the first games in the metroidvania genre.
While this game can get boring if played for many hours without some pause, its not bad.

Trivia: Castlevania 2, Zelda 2 and Faxanadu have all been released in the same year (1987) in Japan, one year after Metroid.
