...Doesn't it just remind you of Getsu Fuuma Den (another one of Konami's lost franchises, for those of you who never got to play it during the NES days)? Also that last scene after the credits...a throwback to Mega Man?

Good to see another reference/jab at Konami in the game.

For whatever reason that last stage in nightmare mode seemed somewhat unrefined in comparison to the rest of the game to me. I did like the idea each character had their own area to go through, and the boss battle was pretty sweet.
