It'd make sense they can't order the codes until they're told how many to order >.> Yes, but somewhere along the line they should have given Fangamer information on when they needed that information so that they would have enough time to generate and send the codes. Each platform is going to have it's own turn-around for how quickly you can expect the codes to be provided (to Inti) for each platform. While these times are never set in stone, an estimate of how long it will usually take can be gotten and used in planning, taking the longest lead time as what will be needed to get the codes.
For example, if it will take up to 4 weeks to get codes back for the X-Box and that's the longest wait time then Inti would need to tell Fangamer that they need the survey information 4 weeks before their launch date so that appropriate time can be scheduled for processing of the backer codes.

Was just looking at their tweets and found this gem where Inti Creates claim no responsibility over the delayed codes. They claim they couldn't order codes until they got the survey numbers. Found under the post where they're gloating about Nintendo downloads. You can link the actual tweet if you want us to jump in on that "conversation". They embed nicely on the forum. Yeah, that is a hunk of shit response. Way to take responsibility for this screw up. Ask for the survey numbers in a timely manner and announce a release date after you have them all. It's a game you wouldn't have if it weren't for backers.

XombieMikeI think that pretty much answers the whole why all of a sudden we had to have all our survey questionnaires done within two weeks even though Fangamer/etc. assured us there would be plenty of notification before slacker backer and survey finalization happened.

Fangamer was given a time frame and met it. I confirmed this with Steve. They did exactly what they were told to do.
This is a publishing issue, and it's on IntiCreates.

"It appears that Inti Creates is aware of the technical issues regarding the PS4 and PS Vita Europe/Australia/PAL region Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon codes not working in certain countries, and they are currently working on a solution.
Unfortunately we (Fangamer) currently don't have a time-frame available for when Inti Creates will be able to resolve this issue."

Fangamer did a fantastic job doing the almost impossible with our selfish request. Although Inti Creates' Twitter says to contact Fangamer regarding the EU codes, please do not contact them as this is out of their control. This is an issue that only Inti Creates can fix with the manufacturer and we (ArtPlay) will directly contact them on this matter. There are other issues that we will be addressing, such as the rest of the codes we haven't received yet.
ArtPlay will be responsible for issues as the IP owner. We will do our best to get this straightened out.

Considering how they apparently fucked Region 3 (any word on this matter?), my hopes for IntiCreates doing this right is kinda down the drain at this moment in time... I mean, if they were currently working on a solution, why wouldn’t we hear it from them rather than thru Fangamer? Doesn’t exactly give a serious impression of IntiCreates trying to do right for the backers.

IGA's replies shows he is 100% ready and willing to accept all blame. That was not what I wanted from this effort to get IntiCreates to answer some questions.

I'm very sorry these are the best options for you to play CotM. It's a really good game well with its 10$ store price. Is it worth all the issues it takes to get it as a backer in your region though? I hope you find it is. I'm very sorry this affects you and everyone in your region. Take IGA up on the refund. I hope you use the money to buy a memory card.

I guess, this will take part of the next kickstarter update. All of this. I really hope they make sure where it went wrong. I guess IGA just can't say "blame Inti Creates!" it would ruin possibly friendships. I would suggest they explain how it goes.. Like Fangamer Steve put it on Discord: "Actually the chain goes more like Console Manufacturers > Inti Creates > ArtPlay > Fangamer > Backers"

IGA being ridiculously humble and bending over backwards? Not anything new there... I'd say that if Fangamer updates your pages that "Inti Creates is working on a solution", it certainly means that they are; Fangamer wouldn't put up something like that lightly or from no information. At this point it's becoming more clear that all the gears that can turn are turning to get this straightened out. The gears might have Medusa heads along the way to beset progress upward sometimes, but we have a Fairy with a hammer to work things out for us if one petrifies. Hey Mana!

The goal of the questions were to get answers about the late backer codes and "Region 3" not getting a PS4 or Vita release. Although I don't have IntiCreates' responses on these issues, I would like to share what IGA had to say in these regards.
Regarding late backer codes:
Regarding Asia backers, excluding Japan, not getting a PS4 or Vita release for their region:
There are other questions I have asked, and if any further conversations clarify these matters, I will keep you updated. With the pending expiration of the temp Steam codes and the release of Curse on Xbox coming to it's various regions I don't think the backer code issue is ready to be in the past. Please understand ArtPlay and IntiCreates are doing what they can.
For "Region 3" backers, when you have a code from Fangamer, email them at orders@fangamer.com and explain that your code doesn't work for your region. They will give you the options previously discussed. Even though those options aren't perfect, it's really the best that can be done.
