It's the 24th on the majority of the planet, where my code?

I understand what you're saying here, but to be clear again, today is release day, and there's no reason to believe yet that the codes excepting the EU 3DS and Xbox One codes will be arriving after today.

And they're right, they didn't have them yesterday, but they did have all those Steam ones to give out immediately.

Some were playing the game via retail and no backers had codes yet. Release timing for every specific console is still mostly an unknown, yes, but Inti has made clear that the only sure delays are the ones I mentioned. They want people to be happy, so they acted as fast as they could with the sure strategy of satisfying as many people as possible as quickly as possible.

Yeah, I get you, but that's all they could do at this point, and was better objectively I think than giving people nothing. It's also only about a 2 hour game, so progress shouldn't be much of an issue.

I felt the vague association with the quote when I posted that yes, but now extra attention is called to relating the situations together when it's a very false equivalency.

Regardless of Ben saying something like that before, it's true, they gave you a something when they didn't have and couldn't yet have what you ordered, beyond their control of the situation. Game again should still be arriving as stated and planned for all we know.

In regards to the current status of Console codes: We (Fangamer) are currently waiting to receive the Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon Console game codes from Inti Creates and ArtPlay, and we will add your codes to your backer survey once we have them in hand. We currently don't have a specific time-frame available, but Console codes will likely be added to your survey before June 8th.

In the meantime, if you are able to use Steam on a Windows computer, your backer survey should contain a temporary Steam code that expires on June 8th, which can allow you to play Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon while you're waiting. ​You can access this temporary Steam code, as well as your permanent Console codes once they become available through your backer survey by clicking the "Download Codes" link. Inti Creates isn't involved with the main game anymore so there's that at least. If there are any screw ups it'll be by different people.
